  2. Thats what I'm planning on, as long as we don't get much rain tonight.
  3. Thank you for the info
  4. Anyone have any action yet, thinking about heading down tomorrow.
  5. I have a 14ft flat bottom with a trolling motor and a kayak as well and waders to stop and fish. I would be up for using either. I could use my yak if going solo or the john if someone without a kayak wanted to tag along.
  6. I've been wanting to float 215 to Taylor for years and haven't been able to get anyone to go. If you do post in the forum and if I'm available i would love to tag along and help out.
  7. I have 2 of the bps airstreams based off recommendations from members on here and I'm very happy with them for the price point.
  8. That's awesome! Way to get the kids out. I need to take my son out one night but my wife worries about everything.
  9. Were you in one of the boats? We talked a little bit to the guys in one boat, and they were really nice.
  10. I had a pretty good night had over 50 trout all rainbows, biggest was 22.5 the picture is awful though I just want to get them back in the water asap. I had another that was right at 20 and 8 total over 17 inches. Also had two just scream drag one pulled off the other broke off. I would of loved to have seen those fish. I've never had one do that before. I learned a very valuable lesson as well spent over an hour missing fish. I always miss some fish. Couldn't figure out why I wasn't hooking up, so I was frustrated took a bathroom break and looked over my gear. My hook had broke off on my jig. Once I realized that retied and was back in the game. I really appreciate all the great advice all you guys give on here so a novice like me can go out and catch fish. Hope you guys caught them as well. I'm sure you did if I had that many.
  11. Good luck to the bunch of you tonight, I'm going to be down around fall creek in my kayak around 10. I love getting my kayak out so peaceful but can only do it comfortably with zero gen
  12. I've had good luck on x-raps but I'm sure the customs would catch you more fish.
  13. That's a good night
  14. I use 25s for light line, and 30s if I'm throwing 8lbs test or heavier.
  15. I was throwing an xrap most of the night
  16. I hope you guys are having better luck than me it was tough sledding last night. Only managed 2 rainbows but both were tanks. One was 21 inches and the other 19. That was my first rainbow over 20 so that was awesome. Hope you guys are catching more fish than I am.
  17. Pflueger presidents is what I have on all my rods. I'm slowly every year replacing the kids reels with the president's as well.
  18. I'm interested, this would be awesome if my schedule allows. I'm not near the fisherman any of you are but it would be great to learn.
  19. Yeah I searched it, all they had was Memphis, Vicksburgh, and rock island.
  20. Most were probably 14-16 inchers
  21. Speaking of sharing tips and ideas. I was down a few weeks ago behind the darn with no water running and it was low! I had never been behind the darn with the water completely off. We were having zero luck and my neighbor tied on a torpedo of all things and started catching fish. So I did the same we probably had 15 in two hours before we had to head back. Anyone else ever try throwing top water baits.
  22. I dont think they have a little rock app for droids, closest was Memphis
  23. Thank you
  24. What is the website to check the water coming from the darn?
  25. My pictures didn't turn out, I'm not much of a photographer that's my wife's job (literally). 2 friends and I were fishing up by the cable we had around 25 trout or so and 7 walleye all on x-raps. Pretty happy with my first chance to get to taney this year.
