I will be up there tomorrow afternoon. I will be in a flat bottom with a trolling motor in the front. Will have my son and another guy with me.

Have any of you used these Stickbaits? If so how did you like them or what do they compare too? They are no longer making the Rapala xr8 in hot pink i was told is why I'm asking. Thanks for any input.

That's the opposite of what's worked for me in the past, I usually do better on flashier colors.

Good luck Jester, I was thinking about coming down but have a honey do list I need to get done. Im debating on taking the kids to the little sac tomorrow evening to try and find whites though.

It was a pleasure meeting you this Saturday night. I hope you have better luck next time you come down. I don't feel as bad about not catching a fish with you saying it was tough. Judging from some of your other posts you obviously usually catch a lot of fish.

What is the best bait or go to bait to use when trying to catch a trophy brown?

We were in kayaks around fall creek, they weren't running any water. Where is the adipose fin? I have heard of the triploids but what is the difference between them and a normal brown?

Caught them all on dark colored jigs, also had a 19 and 17.5 inch rainbow.

The night bite was good Sunday night, had a 23 inch brown and over 30 fish. Sorry the picture isn't very good.

Do you guys use floro or mono when using #2 for jig fishing and what brand? I have been able to catch a few fish on a jig with#4.

My fishing options are wading, kayak, or a small Jon boat with a trolling motor. I may be better off staying home if it's dangerous. Thanks for the advice and good luck fishing.

I just started trout fishing last summer so I don't know Taneycomo very well. Are their any good spots to wade below the trophy area that are accessible right know? Thanks for any advice.

How fast is the water flowing? I'm wanting to bring my kayak or John boat down and fish at night.
