More bushes in the water. 👍

The dyna prop thing didn’t work out for me. I went there and was told I had to leave a credit card with them in order to go test one of the demo props. I can’t say I have ever encountered anything like that before. I wasn’t comfortable leaving them my credit card. They weren’t that nice about it either.

Anyone have a fury 4 24 pitch or bravo 1 xs 25 pitch back up prop they would be willing to let me try or buy?

Hadn’t planned on fishing table rock on Friday, but after the day we had Thursday we had to. Glad we did. Found some fish busting shad in the back of a cove first thing. Caught em almost every cast for about 20 minutes. No big ones but a couple nice keepers. Probably about 10 keepers again today. Biggest was almost 5.

Really good day today. Caught fish regularly all day long. Probably 10-15 keepers. Really good morning bite with cloud cover. Several spinnerbait fish early. Then went to shaky heads, ned, and finese jig. Wife put a big fish whoopin on me. We were fishing around a dock in the back of a creek and she yelled “NET”. I said your hung up, your line isn’t moving. Well I was very wrong. Fish went right at 6lbs.

Yeah, don’t need flooding. Just enough to get all the bushes submerged

Now we’re talking. Fun fishing

Wind wasn’t a problem at all. Caught alot of short fish on wiggle wart. Couldn’t get any good fish on the wart, so started pitching lay downs with a jig. Caught several keepers, 1 about 4 1/2 lbs. Flipping and pitching lay downs is as fun as it gets for me. Fished mostly flat creek and up the james. Wt 52-55.

Haven’t fished up there in several years. Was set to go tomorrow, then got wind advisory on the phone. Seems like you should be able to hide from the wind up there. Any thoughts? Looked at some different wind forecast sights, but they are widely different. Anywhere from 15 mph to 30 mph? Any advice greatly appreciated.

The Texas Tackle brand are really good. I got the 5” (with the orange handle), they work really well on all sizes. Got mine from Tackle Warehouse.

Ok, thank you

Anyone ever make this run? How long would it take?

I was just trying to give you a hard time. I figured with the weather this week there would be more people out. The last couple Saturday’s we haven’t seen too many. -

Congrats on some nice fish. Now I know why I can’t catch anything on the weekend with a jerkbait around big m. -
We fished Saturday all day from big m to mill creek. Fishing was pretty good. 20 + fish 8 keepers. My wife caught the majority of the fish on a pbj ned. Last picture was a 2.36 lb spot.

My wife and I were out Saturday around big m area to mill creek, only saw a few bass boats and couple pontoons all day. Fishing was pretty good.

Forgot to mention, she is still swimming around. We let her go.

I usually don’t post much, but I had to put a picture of my wifes walleye she caught today. We were bass fishing and she caught it on a stinkin ned! She kills me with that thing. It was 5.76 lbs on our scale. Unfortunately I didn’t have any thing to get the length. It was way past my 18 “ ruler.

First impressions of the trolling motor?
-
That is one of the things I was concerned about.

Talked to them yesterday, they told me they have some demo props you can take and try out before you buy. Has anyone on here done this? Also they are only open Monday-Friday, is there a useable ramp at state park right now and fairly clean water (no debris)?
