  1. I would guess it would be a couple weeks before the fishing action really turns on much. Stockton just got done being frozen completely over not long ago. Good luck to those who go and I hope I'm proven wrong.
  2. Welcome to the site. You might want to scroll on down the main page into the river section part of the forum. There is a spot reserved for sac and little sac rivers that most of the reports are put onto.
  3. Nice report. Me and my sons went down there Friday and didn't do very well. I caught 1 keeper crappie in about 3 hrs of fishing and the boys caught nothing. Nobody else owned up to catching much either. It would be nice if I can get down there tomorrow.
  4. What a time to not be able to get on the forum. With a nice warm up and all I was looking forward to reading reports from yesterday and then the site crashed, lol.
  5. Well at least the fishing has been consistent. I've been twice and not had a bite.
  6. Would you mind telling me where you live, or closeby where I could get into some hogs? PM would be fine to.
  7. Sounds like the fishing was slow, but somewhat consistent. I was gonna come down today but I took a look at my boat that hadn't been used since last summer and had to start cleaning and it took hrs to get all the junk out that wasn't even fishing related, lol. Now I am ready, lol. Thanks for the report. So did Phil end up going with today? Were the crappie on flats or holding on structure?
  8. Ok will do. If I have no work I will be down probably with my son either in 2 kayaks or my white Straum stick steer.
  9. What does your boat look like? Me and my son may come over tomorrow and try to catch something to eat. Small whites and crappie sound awful yummy.
  10. That is totally awesome. I was down there today and was wondering how the crappie bite was going. I seen a few boats on the water. But I wasn't fishing and drooling to do some. I'm wishing the storm doesn't show up and the fish stay on pattern, lol. Thanks for the report.
  11. Since you are in KC now, I would say THE best spot would be closest to you that RPS probably forgot about. The tailwaters below Truman dam is an excellent place to catch walleye along with anything else that is catchable in Missouri. It's a bigger river than the others and is kinda lake like. The other locations he meantioned are good spots to. I fish at the first location he meantioned quite a bit and find it unreliable from day to day, but they are definitely in there to be caught. Also the tributaries of Stockton lake can be quite hot at times for walleye, plus the length limit is 15 inches instead of 18
  12. Nice report. It's my goal this year to find me a good creek chub hole on the way to Forsyth and hit the walleye as much as possible this year. Instead of using the usual jerkbaits and soft plastics. Trying to learn something new and more efficient for catching them. Thanks for the report.
  13. I don't know, but maybe that's why I've had trouble getting on a couple times.
  14. What time of day were you fishing? I was at the dam the night before and never had a bite after dark.
  15. Now there is something of rarity and demand that could make someone give up one of those gems everybody is always asking for.
  16. I don't stab them in the head, but I do rip their gills to drain as much blood out of the body as possible before filleting. Rapid blood loss for a death can't be too horrible of a death.
  17. Those look very nice. Maybe if you lose 1, I can find it laying on a sandbar somewhere, lol. Thanks for showing.
  18. There has been a LOT of walleye caught off that bank, especially when the water is generating real well.
  19. Thanks, for the price those baits always seemed to work great on white bass and walleye.
  20. Yeah I'm on the list too. And I believe yellow perch are tops of all!
  21. Do you have any colors or sizes that you would recommend for using for walleye in Bull Shoals. I always liked these baits and would appreciate any recommendations.
  22. Hwy 160 also known as South Campbell is the first take out below Springfield Dam. I just floated that section last week and saw an older gentleman doing well. You will have 1 low water bridge to overcome, but if you stay all the way to the right side, you can get underneath without having to get out. After that the river is clear to float.
  23. Maybe I missed it, but What library and what time?
  24. I Agree, it amazes me the witch hunt people get on on certain topics on here. It seems it's always the same ones. If it had been standing side by side with a coyote, it would be easy to tell. If he was calling for predators and had it come running in like coyotes do a lot of the time, it would be very difficult to tell the difference. Nobody has posted the circumstances on how it was killed. Why bash the guy?
