  1. I used that same Masa when I made my tamales. I thought it tasted authentic. But I'm not an authentic Mexican, so take that for what it's worth. I thought I put some lard in mine. Did you?
  2. I don't know what I was thinking.
  3. Unbelievable. A guy catches a state record fish, and you guys are turning your noses up at it. And all because it's not long enough in your opinion?
  4. I think this is your Horney Head.
  5. Seems like I was just talking to somebody about these.
  6. I have nothing against canned sauces. In fact, that sauce in a can of Ravioli's? I've tried to duplicate that and haven't got it to suit me. I'm going to have to try putting a beef bullion cube in the next batch.
  7. Boy this crust making is pretty technical. I'm taking my handles off. Which anymore I only use it for rolling burger to make hamburgers. Randy -- I noticed you used a canned enchilada sauce. I started making my own a few years ago and haven't looked back. I thought I'd share with you and everyone the recipe I use. 1 TBS Oil 3 TBS Chili Seasoning (I prefer Williams) 2TBS Flour 1-15oz Can Tomato Sauce 1 1/2 c Chicken Broth 3/4 tsp Garlic Powder 3/4 tsp Onion Powder 1 1/4 tsp Cumin 1/2 tsp salt Heat oil, add Chili seasoning and flour. Mix well. It will be very dry. Add Tomato sauce, mix well. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 15 minutes.
  8. Mexican Lasagne sounds like a go!!!
  9. That sounds outstanding!
  10. We were at the Regionals Volleyball tourney with my daughter. Me and him left to get some Subway for the wife and daughter. I had mentioned I'd like a burger and a beer. We saw this place as we hunted for a Subway. That mission accomplished, we went back to try the pub. He had a Philly the size of a battleship and a few Gin and Tonics to wash it down. I will definitely be calling you next time I go. And I will be going!
  11. Hey Ness, KC and I went to Knub's Pub out on Hwy 7 and Johnson drive yesterday for a drink and a sandwich. They have the best Reuben's you will ever get from a restaurant! I asked what brand of kraut they used and was told the chef does in house. Every layer of the sandwich complemented the other. Just a fabulous sandwich. I highly recommend you try it. It's only $8 and it's more than you can eat!! That and a pitcher of beer was under $15!
  12. That is a good looking set up!! And one happy customer!!
  13. There was an update quite some time ago. I thought wrench may have told you. It's STL7
  14. Ha! I hit the water today too. And took a snake pic. It was a bit windy, but boy were they biting! Sorry if the pics are twisted.
  15. Boy that last one is a fatty! LOL!! Before I got fired. LOL!! I think you planned this!
  16. Oh and I love a good salad too Mr. Fly. And they too can be every bit as adventurous and anything you find in this thread.
  17. I was talking about doing shrooms.
  18. Whoa Ness, I never knew about this side of you!!
  19. I could see this being a lot of fun. Way to go! I haven't grilled a pizza in a few years but I love them! I was cheap and just put mine right on the grate. My biggest problem was I always rolled the dough thin, I like thin crust, and added 10lbs of toppings!!
  20. Marketing is everything.
  21. This is how it's done!
  22. So how did it taste? Can you tell they were aged? Was the flavor more intense?
  23. I think those look great.
