  1. I'm never eating breakfast with you
  2. Looks can be deceiving. But they're not. 😜😜
  3. Ehhh it became very Trumpesch. Some just have to have all the attention. Wasn't your fault. We both kinda got sucked in.
  4. So you have spent years publicly condemning the agency with factless conspiracies and now you're crying that they didn't say thank you. My ribs are hurting from laughing so hard. And kudos to you for taking a post that shows the hard work and dedication from the agency to protect our environment and make yourself a victim.
  5. Well because he was out on the weekend working instead of sitting in his office or driving around in a fancy truck never getting his feet dirty like you're always proclaiming.
  6. Did you even read this piece? Did you happen to read where it was also the DNR that came in to clean it up? With the help of the EPA? Nope. It flew right by unrestricted.
  7. Thanks to the local MDC employees!
  8. Congratulations to him!
  9. Interesting conversation. In almost 50 years of using live rubber and now silicone skirts, I've never had one tie its self into knots. I've never even head of anyone make that complaint. I don't even know how one would. But I guess I've been lucky all this time. Here is a pic of a silicone skirt on a wigglewart and vinyl skirts on some homemade lures for comparison. I think one can draw their own reasonable conclusion as to which one is more tangle free. There is some truth that skirts can affect the motion of a bait. But that has more to do with the size of the skirt than it does the material. And it will also depend on the type of bait it is used on. Obviously, the wigglewart has a much broader wiggle pattern and the effects of the skirt, if any, are minimized. But a skirt of that bulk could cause problems for a lesser bait. And all skirts are not created equally even from the same material. Manufacturing standards are different. If you're complaining about the collars being to thick or to thin or what have you, it's probably the choice of manufacturer not the choice of material that is your trouble.
  10. I don't think any one person thought of it. Like the Ned.
  11. I don't know of anyone that liked those junkyass vinyl skirts. We always like the flat rubber skirts. Can't find them anymore except for those on H&H spinners. They had the best action! But they wouldn't last long. After a few trips they just melted all over the place.
  12. He said he didn't think of it until the 90's. I learned it from my dad back in the 70's. He learned it back in the 50's. I taught to my son just after the turn of the century.
  13. One of the great after dishes that come from Thanksgiving meals is the ever popular pot pie. Simple and delicious.
  14. I don't have much, but like Ness, we do our own little Thanksgiving because the warden likes all the leftovers but we never bring any home. I'm doing two birds. One my son harvested and one domestic. Can you guess which one I'm eating and which one is hers?
  15. You better!
  16. First turkey pic of the season
  17. Do we to start a Gofundme for some updated plates?
  18. 2 TBS Chili seasoning (I prefer Williams) 1 TBS Cumin 2 tsp salt 1 1/2 tsp Paprika 1 tsp coriander 1/2 tsp cayenne
  19. It's supposed to be Tortilla soup but one can safely call it taco soup too. I cubed 3 chicken breast, seasoned with my homemade taco seasoning, and simimmered in a skillet with 1 can chicken broth. I then transferred to a pot and added: 1 can green chilis, 1 can black beans rinsed and drained, 1 can rotel, 1can fire roasted tomatos, 1 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp granulated garlic, 1 tsp taco seasoning, 4 c chicken broth, 1 bag frozen corn. I think next time I may add some cork screw pasta.
  20. Ahhh heck! I always get them mixed up. I would know one from the other if I caught one. I gotta do some studying on them.
  21. Look like a new destiny
  22. Ronnie and I have talked about chasing them over here a few times. We just haven't done it yet. I think they are somewhat common in Crane. I have fished it 1000 times and never caught one. But I have never been targeting the waters of that creek that they inhibit. And I have only been there during the winter. I did talk to Tim a few years ago about fishing for them in Crane. He gave me some great information I just can't remember what all it was. I believe he catches them quite often. I will pass your musky info along to Harps. I think that may be exactly what he is doing wrong.😂😂
