  1. http://mochf.org/2014/04/book-waterfowl-hunting-and-wetlands-conservation-in-missouri/ There is a new book out that is a really great read. If you are interested in all that goes into what makes for great waterfowl conservation which equates to great hunting, I highly suggest getting this book.
  2. Do you go there very often? That's an idea!! Ohhhhh Ness??? I was thinking today about buying a loaf of SD bread and making pizza bread. Won't be anywhere close to being the same but thought it sounded good none the less.
  3. You're telling me!!! That stuff is the best!! I was thinking about seeing if they would try a SD crust.
  4. I don't know. That pizza has really sparked my interest. Not enough to go through all of this, but I would really like to taste one wood fired.
  5. See what you get for not reading every thread? Now don't let it happen again. Personally I think they should be allowed during the archery portion. They are a blast to shoot!
  6. I thought crossbows were only allowed during the Firearm portion? Was that changed? I knew there was some discussion but hadn't heard of any change.
  7. This thread is 8 yrs old. Yer digging deep to find something worth reading.
  8. Bored this evening?
  9. The cold front won't affect as much as the rain is going to. My corner is under a flood watch until tomorrow night. I don't think autumn fronts have much effect on them anyway. I think that sometime a front in the Spring can, but not very often.
  10. Well that's it. I won't sleep now!
  11. Much like those multiple layers of protection so you can sleep like the rest of us.
  12. That's why I said I like 5-7 dozen. You can certainly put out as many as you like. But those numbers have always worked for me.
  13. Absolutely! I like 5-7 dozen at most. But a couple dozen will bring in more than you can shoot at a time.
  14. Ness, I think I miss spoke the other day when we were talking about this. You know I told you about an ol' boy that claim to have 1500 dozen decoys? I don't know where I got that number. I think it was 100 dozen. Still an insane amount.
  15. I have to question how often does this Hollywood situation ever happen in real life? I'm sure we would all I could be Clint Eastwood and just calmly pull the trigger and blow his head off. That's just not reality. I can't think of any hostage situation in the home that ended with the homeowner blowing his head off. But then again I don't ever hear all of the news. I'll have to check with the NRA. I'm sure they'll have some stats on it.
  16. Am I still headlining that list?
  17. Yeah but that didn't quite happen.
  18. Thanks Ness!!! I'm glad to have someone looking out for my best interest!!
  19. You are out of your league Tim. Once Scott gets involved in a discussion, the only relevant data is what fits his agenda no matter the source. Which is never very credible.
  20. He didn't. Jerry just spewed false info he heard on FOX. BTW one can say that the polar cap at times extended as far as the Missouri and Ohio valleys. Certainly a far cry from what Jerry said.
  21. That is one great fish and great memory. And on an ultralight! Now who would have thought that!!
  22. Naw, I was thinking about the access part of her post. I was in that area earlier this year with Rick and Jerm but don't recall seeing any barricades. I thought I remembered you speaking about this area before and didn't know if you could shed any light on it. Plus I haven't seen you post in a coons age. Good to see you are still around.
  23. Yeah no fun. What I have found to work every time is to not go into water deep enough to breach the waders. Get back in the canoe. HA!
  24. I'm pretty sure bin Laden got bit. Kadaffy got bit. And a few other key operatives of al qaeda have been taken out.
