    Yeah I haven't kept up with that very well! I have gotten really lazy when it comes to posting here or FB. I'll give you two that one. But what is a man to do when all he can catch is 12 inchers?

    I didn't think we were talking numbers of reports? But to answer your question, it has been a while. But even at that, it is more reports than you. Since you like being a junior dicktetive, find a report I posted that I didn't include photos. And don't claim those post that the info as been lost due to Phil changing servers.

    Mostly those from St. Lou side of the state. It is no secret that those from that side won't even post a report unless it has at least one large fish. I thought this was a fishing forum not a bragging board?

    Probably a walk in. Was thinking around Turnback. There is an area south of 160 that looked like it could hold some promis. And maybe some just to the north. Both on the west side of the crick.

    I fish one of the tribs in this area and was thinking about a little hunting myself. Can you share a little more on this?? I don't mind the scouting part. In fact I prefer it. Its an hour + drive each way and I would hate to have it all scouted out only to find I am in the company of a few hundred others. LOL! Plus I don't like walking in on anothers spot. Even though it is public, its just not my style. PM if you want.

    There are always fluctuations. Sometimes it is more severe than others. Most areas that dry up are only sligthly marginal to poor for holding fish in the first place. And you are correct, they know what to do and when.

    I am not sure how much effect a drought has on the smaller streams. I think wayne will agree that there are several in this area that by late summer in a good year, are loosing streams. Some worse than others. But they still retain great numbers of smallmouth. It is really amazing how mother nature takes care of herself.

    Let me ask you guy's this. When you first heard the name of Frank Haith as being the new head coach, what was your thought? Had you even heard of him? My first reaction was, we are screwed! I thought it was a desperate but albeit, stupid decision. But, I'll say this, I sure have changed my mind. I feel know he was a top level coach in need of a top tier program.

    Great response OB. One would have thought though, for as many years as JD has claimed to an avid outdoorsman and hunter, he would have easially know the rule and the intent of the rule. Sounds like a great, innocent story. But two things we don't know and never will know is what was the intent and attitudes of those ticketed? Was there a reason they were transporting them the way they were?
