Had an Omelette for Breakfast. Eggs from my Chickens, Green Onions from garden, Mushroom I had planted and sausage from a Hog we butchered. Only thing that didn’t come off the place was Cheese and Hot Sauce. oneshot

Most Grab or Gig them I just fish for them. Kids didn’t know how good they was until I cooked up some now they want to go Sucker fishing. oneshot

Oh I got to talk to a real person. Use to help them out back in the ‘80’s and had a good time. Now they have all changed. I was told there just isn’t as many hunting and fishing. They are just changing with the times. Most I knew back then are retired. Got one now I work with that is pretty good. Sometimes we don’t agree he just shakes his head and goes on. LOL oneshot

I called them to see what is going on? Seems they are redoing everything. I was just getting use to the last change and told them how I felt. I do go there getting information on Conservation Areas but seems this isn’t important to them. I know it didn’t do any good but put my .02 in. oneshot

Yes I’ve seen where Tornadoes have went through which is very obvious but I was watching TV on Joplin from what I seen it was total destruction far as you could see. Bad being at the office watching Radar knowing what is happening . Watched on Radar Jefferson City being hit Just Straight Line Winds if they are fast enough we are to sound alarms. One time we had winds and tried setting off alarms but they didn’t work. Boss said well winds weren’t fast enough. Set off Sirens once a month. One wasn’t going off, cost $10,000 for company to fix it which they didn’t. We fixed it with $14 part. Got New People over us trying to cut costs which in their mind it should work but it don’t because we are doing it for a reason. Like Computers they said go with Satellite. I said right off the bat they won’t work. First storm no Computer. Oh well just do our Job. oneshot

Was just watching News they was talking about the Joplin Tornado 10 years ago. I knew people down there but never realized how bad it was. I thought the one that distroyed Stockton was bad, it stayed on the ground forever, it killed people before getting to us and after it got by us. I have noticed most problems stack up in North East corner of Oklahoma. That is our main thing. If it looks like it is going to get bad we go to the office and watch Radar and set Sirens off if needed. Tornadoes fool a person. If they are running for a distance it’s pretty easy to keep an eye on them but if they just touch down and back up makes things interesting. We just set up Mini Weather Stations where we can keep an on things before it gets to our area. National Weather Service uses them. oneshot

Oh that wasn’t the half of it. Be ready to go at 2AM then they call you every hour telling you their broke down come in at 8AM work until 9PM go back in at 7AM. Couldn’t advance or bid off your Job because no one else could do it. oneshot

I worked Sunday for many years. Also worked Holidays and Vacation. Worked 365 days a year. This was a good Union Job. oneshot

Yesterday Boss asked if I could go get a Truck? My wife said I was probably healed enough. So I went and got it. She had me close up the Chickens. I misunderstood thought I was good to go. I had my day planned Gardening and getting stuff in town. This morning she said she was going to open the Chickens. I told her I could. No you can’t they need water. Told her I gave them plenty of water. She jumped all over me for lifting a bucket of water. Told her what I had planned. No! Get your butt back in the Man Cave, no work until the Doctor releases me 😳 oneshot
