  1. Went to Lindley Arm yesterday using Sonney's Blood Dip. Three hours caught a Eater size Channel Cat and a Eater size Blue. Didn't tear them up but caught enough for a meal. oneshot
  2. Ok I went looked at Davis Ford was assured it was a Good place to catch Catfish and Suckers. After 4 hours, one Perch and one Turtle. oneshot
  3. Back in the '80's I was working for Johnny Morris. He parked a Vehicle in the Summer outside Bass Pro. Few days later it smelled BAD! Seems him and couple Guys went fishing. Had forgot about the Ice Chest full of fish until the smell was brought to his attention. oneshot
  4. Well just before dark went down. River is still up and muddy. Spring is back to normal and clear. oneshot
  5. There is a riffle I can fish below which should be good any time. oneshot
  6. Well I'm considering Worms Meat. I think Buffalo prefer Worms and Chicken Liver over Dough Bait but have caught them on all. Hey I might as well use the Worms because I'm going after Redhorse or Channel Catfish and I know they both bite on them. oneshot
  7. Ok I have few hundred Worms that is what I've been using for Redhorse Suckers. I'm wondering is there a better Bait? Will they bite better on Carp Bait or do they like Meat better? oneshot
  8. So far the river is ok but predicting rain every day so hard telling by then. oneshot
  9. Where I'm fishing is just below the Ramp at Bennett Access across 64HWY from the Park. oneshot
  10. Ok been trying to catch Suckers. Using 12# Test Line, Worm threaded on Straight Hook, fishing right on the bottom. All I catch is Trout. Is there anyway I can keep them from biting? Wouldn't be so bad but they die soon as I throw them back so I just keep them until I have my Limit and go home with no Suckers.:( I could go on down the river where they aren't but just soon catch them by the house. I know they are in there. oneshot
  11. Yes it is normal now and it is warm. oneshot
  12. I was looking the creeks running into the Lake should be in their banks. oneshot
  13. ?? Why? oneshot
  14. Should be better next week, hope they quit bringing the Lake down and it should clear up. oneshot
  15. No pics but went over 64HWY Bridge. River is still running bank full and I guess water is over the wooden bridge because sign was out the road was closed. oneshot
  16. Yes take a Hanger with Cottonseed Cake, put Hook on each side. I can go with Dough Bait and most time catch all I want. Use to have Pay Lakes where person would pay so much for a 20 pound Ticket then so much a pound for every pound over. oneshot
  17. No just cut up, put in Pint Jars, tsp. Vinegar, Pressure Cook at 10 pounds for 90 minutes. oneshot
  18. Stopped got a Box of Best Choice Tuna Fish Creamy Helper. Used a Pint of Canned Carp in it. It was Good. There is many ways of using Canned Fish this is just another way I'm going to use more. oneshot
  19. Ok I usually go Catfishing over at Pomme de Terre Lake. Is there some where much closer to Lebanon, MO? oneshot
  20. Wish Marie White was still around. Her mind was full of History of the Lead Mine area. Me and my wife moved into the area just as many changes were being made in the area from the old ways to we can't have people doing that. Back then I packed for many good reasons. oneshot
  21. Ok been down that way I believe it takes you right across from Avery. oneshot
  22. Ok I have fished on down towards 82 HWY and did very Good. Duck hunting should be great in that area. Gets better towards Clinton. oneshot
  23. Well the owner of Niangua River Ranch came in pissing everyone off from the start. Still hasn't learned about people, even his neighbors. oneshot
  24. I use Night Crawlers I found along the river. Take scale them, fillet, score from the inside to the skin, bread with Corn Meal, Salt and Pepper, making sure to get meal in every score and Deep Fry Hot. I'm still laid up but soon as I can I'll be back on the river. oneshot
  25. I've always liked Sonney's Blood Dip Bait, Carolina Rig no matter where I fish for Channel Cats. oneshot
