I agree Kevinkirk.....the younger generation want what their parents have NOW, no matter what it costs! I have experience in banking and as a realtor and I can't believe some of the houses people were purchasing. They would take out an ARM loan to qualify for the house and could not afford to furnish it. Never sold one where a customer had to take out an ARM loan, but I saw many of them in the banking industry. That's why they call them Teaser rates!

Looks like a cross between a cucumber and a watermelon, but it just hasn't gotten fat enough yet! Hey, them there maters look really good......and I live pretty close! Just send me your address and I will "borrow" some in the middle of the night....that way you wont know and you can blame the critters!

Worked for a savings and loan here in STL, back in the 80's, that was "saved" by the Resolution Trust Corporation (the government). What a total waste of tax payers $$. The big Blue Chip brought in a CEO that was turning things around, but they had to flex their big muscle and take over.

Seth, always start low. The market is somewhat soft for Trucks/SUV's. As CC suggested, check it out on carfax, drive it and have someone check it out. I would probably start at $3500.....remember, KBB is not going to necessarily reflect the soft market right now. Just my 2cents

hfd, was hoping to get down there 7/25 - 7/29. The wife wants to stay at the park, but they are full and she wasn't crazy about staying at a new place. If it is decent, I was going to talk her into staying there. Is campground 5 still first come first serve?? Might stand a chance if I came down on Thursday morning.

9' 6wt Temple Fork......inexpensive rod and worth every penny. I own a 9'6wt and a 7'6 3wt......snapped the tip of the 3wt, sent the rod back with a check for $25 and they sent me a brand new rod in less than 1 week. Phil was offering a 25% discount on any Temple Fork rod (economic stimulus incentive!)

Has anyone ever stayed at Circle J campground, just outside BS state park? If so, is it nice? Are the roads paved and easy to get around? Any info would be appreciated!

SWEET!! That is a blast.....I take my youngest, Amanda (13) and she really enjoys it!! Her sister Megan (16) does too, when she is not doing something with her friends! Next time you are near wally world in Branson, stop in there and check out the fly rods they sell. They sell a Scientific Anglers rod for approx $20 and believe it or not, they are a really nice rod! I bought one a year ago for the girls and they really like them. Tons of fun when you have fishing partners like that!
