  1. I would also receommend Buster Loving. A master with the stickbait!
  2. GF, basically I have my baits nose point up, not too much but just alittle, don't know why but it works unreal... I had taking a FLW tour guy out in the late winter and he showed me the trick of placing the sticky weight right in front of the last hook. He out fished me 5 to 1 his was weighted mine was not!!! Same bait!!! it just allows the tail to drop down and raise the nose up as it suspends. Just go buy some Storm stick on weights and give it try, you will like it.. Now I do it to all of my stickbaits, McSticks, Pointers and Megabass.. Good Fishing Don I had more success last year the the McStick. They throw great and have good paint jobs and very good hooks. They need more colors to select from though.
  3. Well said. Merry Christmas!
  4. I have been having the skirts break off on several of my Jewell football jigs. I get them out of the jig bag and the skirts are just falling off. Very irritating. I am going to switch to another football jig.
  5. Bill, I completely understand. You give us plenty of great information already. I found a website called Hook Up Tackle and they have a nice supply for $27.99. Thanks for the responses guys.
  6. I know it is early to start the late winter jerkbait questions, but I am going to buy a few Megabass 110's and had a couple of questions for you. I know you got some earlier this year and wondered where you purchased yours and what colors worked best for you on Table Rock? Tackle Warehouse only has a few colors and I found another site that has most of the colors but they are $27.99. Thanks for any info Bill.
  7. Go to Bass Boats Central website and look for the lure making link. Lot"s of good info on paint, airbrush recommendations, etc. They are a great resource. Check it out.
  8. I 2nd the Shimano Symetre. Very good spinning reel for the price. I have never had any problems with mine and I have had it for 4 years.
  9. Great report. Lots of action for a short time on the lake. Glad you helped out the Buck.
  10. John: Thanks for the great reports! Heading down in 3 weeks and wondered what size beaded Zebra Midges you recommend. Thanks again.
  11. Looking at a late October trip and wanted recommendations for lodging. We stayed at The White Hole last year and White Buffalo previous years. Any others you would recommend? Thanks.
  12. Good luck. You are moving to a wonderful area that is fly fishing heaven.
  13. DoctaJ: Check out the numerous fishing reports posted almost daily. There should be more than enough info to help you catch fish on The Rock. Good luck.
  14. Bill: How does the Megabass fish compared to a Pointer or McStick? I have not fished one. Glad you got to get out today and fun fish. Thanks for taking time to post the report.
  15. You look like a kid on Christmas day Bill. Let us know which one works the best. I really like the bone with chartruese belly.

    The smile says it all.
  17. Bill: Your reports are always informative and the next best thing to actually fishing. Thanks for the time you spend posting the reports and allowing many of us to experiance Table Rock from many miles away.
  18. Anyone have Mike Webb's GPS DVD? If so, how do you like it and would you recommend ordering. Or, is there another you would recommend? Thanks.
  19. I believe the color you are referring to is called Chartruese Shad. Same color Gagliardi was throwing.
  20. Snakem: What kind of jerkbait are you using?
  21. I usually put Gamakatsu trebles on them.
  22. Thanks!
  23. Listened to the podcast today and really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing your wealth of information. Looks like you need to do seasonal DVD's for Table Rock as your next project. Could be a big seller. Thanks again.
  24. What internet sites have the best tackle/prices. I have used Tackle Wharehouse and a couple of others. Just wondering if there was a great site I haven't seen. Thanks.
  25. Thanks Eric. I may need to reevaluate the line I am using.
