    CAGI

REGISTER HERE BULL SHOALS on The White River ! Missouri CAGI on June 23th Come to Missouri and get your Lumps on June 23rd a night time event starts at 9pm! This swim is a cool to cold water swim, where water temps run a constant 59-65 degrees it is a wide riverine Environment that can be still like a lake, or a river with ample current depending on water releases. Usually most swims 5 oz of lead will hold in this mostly gravel and chunk rock bottom even with heavy flow. Small boilies and corn are the baits of choice --method mix and pack baits work here as well Bank access is good, as most swims can be driven almost to the waters edge, lending itself well to anglers who are less mobile. this will be a evening till morning event to avoid the heat and more fish are caught at night than in daylight in this very clear water venue. a 42 + pound lump (confermed by Local conservation agent) was taken at this locaton in late Febuary 06... so very large fish are possable, the swims where only discoverd by carpers summer 05 and to our knowledge the 1st serious attemps to catch carp here WITH EURO GEAR Accommodations are plenty in Forsyth as well as greater Branson with rates for any budget. Branson is where many family friendly things to do are available, shows, silver-dollar city and surrounding Tourist Attractions. Great carp swims are available in addition to the CAGI location... so come early and or stay after Forsyth is close to Arkansas boarder as well as a reasonable drive from Kansas and Oklahoma If you have questions please contact me Cheers Mo
  3. late but happy b day--would have been sooner but the heat from all those candles kept driving us back cheers Mo
  4. everyone say a prayer
  5. the biggest culprit is septic tanks I would bet more houses are on tanks than ww treatment in SW Missouri I don't see that changing--heck if you drove around empire lake where the confluence of shoal creek and spring river come together, it would make you cry so much potential, it is cleaner in the slum areas of st Louis if I was a billionaire I would by every bit of property around it
  6. same here Phil, if I can help, I remmember when this site 1st started wow has it worked! Harry

  11. YES, I thought so as well, British (sarcasm) Humor is IMHO a bit beyond me at times, they do talk about Tiding up the van before they start , From the grounds they where fishing looks like they keep it picked up pretty well--I wish the parkat Miami looked that clean... If I had a penny for every salmon egg. power bait Jar or night crawler box, I have picked up or fished-out of the margins, I would be rich ether way the brits in that video should stay off the humor and stick with the fishing Mo

  22. That will be VERY usefull, some never before hidey holes will be available to the savy--hey Wayne ready to do some more fishing yet????? Everytime I get time the weather gets bad!!! hopfull that will change some huge carp get caught at a certain spot in late Jan, I hope to tap into that pretty soon Mo
  23. darker water lakes are easier for the "avg" angler to fish-and do well--clear water lakes, take a bit more skill and IMHO LOZ is not even a close second to TR and I have spent a great deal of time on both--some years, one will be better than the other on some species--but year in and year out TR rules--as fas as pleasing to the eye....
  24. the bacteria count in shoal does get high, but if you want pollution check out center creek by the powder plants... as far as other streches of shoal, upper reachs near jolly mill has great water quality, some nice browns/bows wash down where few folks fish any part I have fished seems to be as good as any others below the dam at neosho is good wade fishing as far as other creeks try dry fork east of carthage, very small but great bassin--just get permisson 1st spring river has good fishing but is not a good wading stream, great place to get washed under a deep log jam and drown!!!! but pick you spots, and use wisdom
