  1. Thanks. I havent been able to print it yet on the page correctly yet but I'll keep working on it. Appreciate the efforts.
  2. I'd help. I bought a paddle jon a couple months ago so i could float & fish the James. It was like the first boat I ever owned and it's a high floatin' dandy. LOVE to get in on this map thing regarding the James River. For myself.....Lake Springfield down to Table Rock. Just let me know the time & place.
  3. SKMO - your walleye looks yummy. Hope he fried up nice n crisp.
  4. Some of the COOLEST photos I ever took at Taney was when it was snowing. Especially of you're holding up a 20 incher.
  5. Hey Phil, On your map, can you show me exactly where it was I lost that #20 beadhead pheasant-tail nymph??? It was my last one and I'd like to get it back. Ha-hahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa
  6. I've fished weighted scuds, bead-head scuds, and un-weighted scuds. Truth is..... the fish want what they want. Some days, one is hot-hot-hot. Tomorrow it's a whole different pattern. Just keep tying... just keep trying something new. I think Yogi Berra said, "In one word...youneverknow."
  7. Was truly nice to meet you fellas. Hope to see you soon....on the water. Tight Lines.
  8. No doubt about it. Why are more muskies caught on black than any other color???? Because more people use black than any other color.
  9. Oh yes...my favorite...Dee-na-me-tay (dynamite).
  10. Branson Landing.... makes me want to hurl just thinking about that monstrosity. I wish they'd keep the "testers" below the bridges. Then...it would interfere in our world. Remember forum users... keep supporting the little guys with your money. "Cause I GUARANTEE that BPS won't have a forum for us.
  11. 'Flicker, I havent heard anything about any shad. And I was really hoping too. Target big fish...you'll pick up some bigger fish. Good luck.
  12. But the ones you are opening are the smaller ones. If you could take an accurate check on a group of big fish in Taney. they'd have meat in them...fish, sculpins, & crayfish...with a few mice, baby ducks, & muskrats thrown in. Browns are the #1 predator in this waterway. Awwwww....I din't mean to shame you. Being a Cubs fan....you have enough grief already.
  13. I plan to come too. See you at Noon.
  14. Please don't take offense but you are severly misinformed on this. Every statement you just made is incorrect. Rainbows eat smaller fish regularly. Medium sized, big, and the giant browns thrive on small rainbows. Given availablity of a careless fish meal.... browns will take it every time.
  15. Fox....ssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
  16. So, the browns will have plenty to eat. Moral of the story..... EAT THE darn LITTLE ONES.
  17. Here's one I found dead at Taney a few weeks back. Measured over 30". Couldn't have been dead 24 hours. Was in the trophy area. THIS is why you take all the time you need to revive them. He would have been the catch of a lifetime for someone.
  18. Are we walking? Or do we want some boats too?
  19. How do you REALLY feel? Hee-hee
  20. "Sarcasm. Just one more of the fine services we offer here"
  21. Amen. And I'll add one last thing... It runs when it's supposed to!
  22. Fished Pomme some. While I lived in Columbia. Moved to Springfiels this past summer so I intend to fish it alot more. Been a real hit-&-miss lake for me. Some trips...unbelieveable. Other times....couldn't hook anything of any size.
  23. What is the best rig? I found out there is no single "BEST" boat for all situations. So now I have a 17' LUND I use on all big water including Taney; And a smaller jon I use to pond hop etc. So quit smoking, or sell some hunting guns, or work a third shift somewhere and get what works for you....even if it's 2. Everybody needs 2 boats don't they?
  24. I'm not sure what brand you have but I've owned Yamaha's and Honda's. I guess there are lemons in each batch but my first 3 motors were Mercury's and you could count on them about as much as counting on a teenage boy to behave with your daughter. Given the chance...they'll disappoint you! I know this. When on Taney I can hear a 2-stroke coming from far-far off. But I get comments on my Honda everytime I'm down there, "Boy that's a quiet motor". One last thing: HOLE SHOT Who cares! You racing or fishing? This is reason #592 why tournaments are bad for fishing.
