  3. top_dollar said fish are dumb animals but they sure have been smarter than me on numerous occasions! for myself the reason to hire a guide would be to LEARN all I can while with them
  4. cleaning out the closet where I keep some tackle and found a 2000yd spool of seagaur fc with at least a 1000yds on it. the dilema is it is at least 7 yrs old. it hurts to think I should throw it away. it is 10lb test and still seems hard to break. what would you do?

  13. I have a spinning reel spooled with sun assasin fluorocarbon, slicker than than a greased pig. I suspect it would do the same on a bait caster
  14. went fishing last night and was spooled up with gamma flouresant line. DO NOT LIKE IT! every time I went to retie it would curl so bad it made it very difficult. think I'm going back to tried and true trilene xt. what line do some of you like. and I don't like braid either

  16. 1959 was camped at lead hill on bull shoals with my father. in a cancas tent and the flap was tied to a big oak tree. that night lightning split that tree and sent splinters of wood thru the tent. not a pleasant way to be woken up

  23. congrats, typical looking stockton bass long and skinny. had a 7lb er once that in any other lake would have been at least 8, but they still fight good and are fun to catch
  24. was with a man once that hit a big wake to fast, bounced me out of my seat and I ended up on the back deck against the pedestal seat. left a streak in my shorts on that one
