Yup, MOPanfisher. Full of eggs.

I wouldn't overlook the Strike King 3XD in the bank-to-8 foot range either. That dude is a fish catcher. Just wish the color choices were better.

Lee had a limit Sunday for 27 pounds. Four for 27 is approaching impossible, anywhere. Oh, and another correction. Ol' fat boy had 3 in the top 6, as well. I get offended when I don't get properly recognized and lean toward protesting, sign-toting and perhaps looting. Might even organize a march on Branson. And we all know the BPS there isn't worth looting. On to T-Bend.

Thanks for the report, Nitro, and REALLY glad you got to get out. You faithfully thank everyone else for their reports, so thanks again to you, buddy. Donna and I found it pretty tough today, too. Light bites from the bass and no crappie action whatsoever. Better days ahead. Very soon.

That's the good stuff, Sprint. Great-looking crew. Glad Mom scored the big one.

Fished both days this weekend. Spent our rainy/chilly Saturday from Owl Creek up to state line and managed 15-20 bass and four really nice crappie. One of the bass was a very nice LM and we had several other keepers. Unfortunately, we invested 2 hours in those crappie. Quality always seems to be good in the White but can't say the same for numbers. At least not for my efforts. Bass came on a spinnerbait, Bomber 6A crank, Senko, Keitech single swimmer and a crappie jig. Depths were from practically dry ground to no more than 12 feet. Just FYI, there's a fair amount of mud rolling down from the Roaring River, along with quite a bit of floating debris in both the upper White and Roaring Rivers. Be careful running. Launched Sunday at Viney and fished downstream to near the White/Kings split. Tough going for us. Managed about a dozen bass, of which two were nice keeper spots. The rest were sub-keepers. Spinnerbait, single Keitech and Ned were the players.

Any rumors of a spinner bait bite are greatly exaggerated ?
-
I get it. I'm the same about the A-rig. But some days, there's just no substitute for the Ned, especially when the water temp is below 60.

Now that's a super mess of fish. Enjoy them.

Very nice, pal.

We're just all here to have a good time and share some fishing info, Hammer. Pull up a keyboard and settle in. We're pretty good dudes most of the time.

Darn good day, Dave. Thanks for the report and pics (other Dave).

He's digging a ditch in his backyard to bury all of his watermelon/red soft plastics.

Enough of this fishing tomfoolery. Any thoughts on March Madness or golf?
-
We are a friendly bunch here who enjoy normal daily banter. The theme is definitely fishing but other subjects may arise. Chill, man. March Madness is called that for a reason. Lots of people talking about it everywhere.
-
The Strike King Zero also comes in Dirt (actual name).

You should never, ever feel a duty to repay folks for prayers, my friend. Your spoken gratitude is far more than enough. Just try to be calm and continue to be strong for your mom. She needs you now. Still praying for all of you.

I agree. The game moves at the speed of light these days.

One of the best fishermen I've ever known (leading career money winner in the old Central Pro-Am and Heartland circuits) once told me the only grub color you ever need on Table Rock is the Kinami/Yamamoto natural shad. It's sort of a cloudy smoke color with small flake in black, silver and gold. He lives in Hollister so TR is his home lake.

Good stuff, Dave. I knew you'd take my ribbing in good nature. Might add Fayetteville to that banner storage options list. We have plenty of room, too. Regarding the officiating, sure glad it wasn't me turning into a former media guy-turned-homer. Those are the very worst kind of homers. Every coach I ever knew always said, "I can live with bad officiating as long as it's bad on both ends." When it becomes inconsistent, it affects the scoreboard and that's the last thing a good ref wants.

I started out walking a couple of miles down the railroad tracks to the tressle over the creek. Later I rode my bicycle to creeks and ponds, then my motorcycle and finally my car or truck. While other wholesome activities went by the wayside, I kept my passion for fishing throughout my school years.

I strive to not be a ref basher and usually try to weigh my complaints with other objective eyes where Arkansas is concerned, but we just flat-out got hosed yesterday. And that resonates with others like yourself, i.e. not Arkansas fans. Sadly, tradition --- in this case, North Carolina --- seems to live a charmed life in NCAA sports. One forum member who is beyond knowledgable when it comes to college sports said yesterday that this entire tournament has suffered from poor officiating. I do know from being a sportswriter that tournament games are often called looser simply because they are playing multiple games at each site and need to stay on schedule. No problem there, but call it consistent from start to finish and most of all, call it consistent on both ends of the floor. North Carolina is definitely the physically superior team to Arkansas, but our kids left every ounce of blood, sweat and tears they had on the floor yesterday. It's just a shame that they perhaps played well enough to upset the better team but came up short because of some questionable officiating. Oh yeah, for the rest of tournament, Rock Chalk! And no, I didn't fill out a bracket. Just admire Bill Self and would like nothing more for him and Coach Crook (Calipari) to meet up. My SEC loyalty goes on the shelf where that guy is concerned.

that someone made a comment recently about how the SEC's lack of basketball prowess shows every March. #ThereGoesDuke
