  1. Probably the same ones we had in the 90’s. Every thing seemed good in the buildings I was in back then.
  2. Once they find out they can get out you will never keep them in. We had a dog like that and did the same thing. as soon as it figured out that the pain was only temporary it no longer worked. Charli could hop right over our four foot fence right now like a deer but she doesn't know that.
  3. My ex BIL drives a Top Fuel Dragster and always refused to get in a boat with me. I really should be the guy that holds the World speed record on water. You want to build a boat that will hit 319?
  4. It’s true. That glass slick water just slows you down.
  5. I'd like to drive one of those 200+ MPH boats.
  6. Well I have somehow managed to keep this dork to her first birthday. My Vet (who is a badass) believes that the Australian Shepard in her is really lab and she's going to be a large dog. She's still as crazy as ever. Hates lawn mowers. Would like to play with a cat but cats are terrified and would probably accidentally die if they did come close. Totally freaks out when she sees a frog. And has zero idea of how big she is. So I sit in my recliner at night with a 70lb lap dog that is still growing.

    What's Cooking?

    That looks awesome Travis!!
  8. MSU seems like a pretty good place. I went there and a couple of my daughters have went or are currently studying there. But I have really no experience with anywhere else.
  9. Cedar Ridge and Ruark Bluff would be my choices.
  10. Any fast bass boats run that thing?
  11. Looks like a good time minus all that dragging. Never seen a float cat. That's pretty cool.
  12. Probably not a bad idea. I have people that won't get in a canoe with me and I have had people that won't get in a bass boat with me. I've only scared myself a few times though.
  13. We turned that sucker over 5 feet from the put in the first time either of us was in it. And it wasn't the only time that day. But he and I have a bad habit of keeping boats upright. I do believe we were upside down the first day we ever met you.
  14. I wish!! Not she's a surgical assistant for some oral surgeons. But they also put people's faces back together after accidents, fights, etc. When she starts talking about breaking jaws or peeling faces back I leave.
  15. You would be surprised how many they see that are around that age. Most are either teens or older folks. I get to hear about them everyday when the wife gets home. (whether I want to or not)
  16. Well then it get's a little tricky depending on the type of paint and how long the paint has been on there and how fresh it was when the decals were applied. Heat works but a heat gun is probably going to destroy the paint. Goo gone is probably not going to touch it. It will help remove any left over adhesive but again it could harm the paint. They make what's called an eraser wheel that you attach to a drill or DA that will remove decals from painted surfaces. But again if the paint is fresh or isn't adhered well to the substrate then it can do some damage. Your best bet is too see if you can just peel them off with a little heat. Sit it out in the sun awhile or use a hair dryer, NOT a heat gun.
  17. You gotta float shorter stretches then. Some guys like Al are good floating 12-14 miles in a day. That's more suited to a 3 day trip for me. I like to stop and get out to fish, take pictures, sit under a shade tree, whatever.
  18. If you have concerns on fit make sure you try them on. The EXACT ones that you are going to buy. I had a pair of Simms and loved the fit. Everything was perfect. When they ignorantly made felt illegal I decided on new boots and new Simms to go with them. The new pair is tight around my ankles. Part of that is due to swelling in one leg from a knee but it also wasn't that way with the older pair. I agree a lot with what @tjm says. I don't buy this stuff to baby it. I pull them off, throw them wherever, and toss my boots on top of them most of the time. I would also just rather have another pair every two or three years because I'm going to walk thru the brush and thorns, slide down a bank, etc. Heck I could buy a new pair every couple of years and I know I will end up spending more money than that on sneakers.
  19. ALL of them leak at some point and that point isn't determined by a price tag. I do like my Simms Aquaseal brand though.
  20. Seems weird that we didn't used to have that many before Live PD. I've watched several and thought they could have been stopped a lot sooner than what they were but we gotta keep those ratings up so they get the cash. Saw one Saturday night. Right in the middle of town. 4 or 5 cop cars chasing a couple of guys on motorcycles. Not a single Springfield Police car involved. All were Greene County cars. That's not normal but it won't end until they kill somebody.
  21. Or you might fly thru the intersection of Kearney & Glenstone and kill a family of three. https://fox2now.com/2019/08/05/driver-charged-after-3-die-in-wreck-during-springfield-police-chase/
  22. My right one has been opened up a few times and the latest doc says the shots probably won't work. Most of the time it's fine and just aches a bit here and there. But sometimes it just quits wanting to bend or the pain is so much that you can barely walk. Then for no reason the pain will just be gone and it's all fine again. Might last a couple of days, might last 20 minutes. If I were you I would do anything to put off surgery. At 17 it wasn't a big deal. At 47 it sucked.
  23. Yep. I'm about sick of the LivePD douchery. Saw them Friday night with a guy pulled over. There were 4 cop cars there for one guy. And since the 3 media guys were standing around talking I don't think that type of police coverage on that dude was necessary. But Greene County is getting that paycheck!!
  24. Replacement or repair? I'm to the replacement stage but I don't wanna. When I was 17 a doctor told me I would need at least one knee replacement at 50. I thought he was a crazy old man but here we are.
  25. Oh this is easy. ZERO @Chief Grey Bear and I were going to do the James from Springfield Lake to Table Rock but we have never got around to it. But That still wouldn't be all of it. I'm close on a bunch but most of that is water that I would just be floating to say I've done it so I'd say it will probably always be zero.
