    If I'm camping overnight or have my kids with me I will have a gun. Don't need it to feel like a badass I already know that I am. But the argument about I'm not going to carry because nothing has ever happened is just ignorance that means nothing. But I respect everyones decision not to carry and I would hope you would respect mine.

    Well I could use some new wading boots. And there is always room for more camera equipment. (yes I consider that fishing equipment)

    Zach, I haven't really found good protection for a dslr. A small dry bag works but you won't use a camera that you can't get to easily. Mine rides on my cooler in the canoe most of the time but I wouldn't recommend that. There are some very good water proof point and shoots on the market that would be a good choice. Olympus has a good product and Nikon just came out with one. If you want the features of a dslr but the small compact size start looking at the 2/3 cameras like the Nikon One. Not waterproof but a compact size.

    Well if it's going to be in the summer I was hoping to fish some main lake points.

    If we make it canoe only then we need to do it on Springfield Lake or something similar.

    Having enough boats is going to be the biggest problem. You could do it out of canoes but that would put them at a possible disadvantage to the guys in bass boats.

    Yeah I used to fish a lot of bass tournaments and I can only think of a few times where I would have maybe been okay with a flyrod. But I still would rather have my gear. A fly only bass tournament would be a blast. I think Wrench should host that.
