He just got his first fly rod and has had some success, but he is definitely not a snob. He expressed his opinion, just like everybody else expressed their opinion about his.

I don't know, I caught a nice smallie on a soft hackle a few years back. Of course the soft hackle was attached to a small bluegill at the moment of impact!!!

That's the biggest problem with this forum. You can't really say anything anymore without somebody jumping your butt and telling you how wrong you are. There are fish in the river, go catch them if you want. If these fish are not wild then who is taking care of them?

I could have gone to the KC game but was stuck going to the Rams game instead. My daughter's high school band performed at half time. I was not happy sitting there watching the Rams lose while seeing the scores flash on the screen for KC and Pittsburg. As soon as the band left the field we were out of there. Hey Rams fans, if you guys would yell and have a good time maybe it would spark your team. You might want to attend a game at Arrowhead to get some pointers.

How in the hell does an oil less fryer work? I saw my first one a couple of weeks ago and was really confused. I don't get to do any cooking this year. Traditional turkey and ham at the in-laws on Thursday and a fish fry at my parents on Friday. Might smoke a fatty or two for the yearly Saturday night run away from the families poker tournament.

I think your video reports are great. I like the option that Terry and Bill are talking about. But it's also good to hear your on the video out if the field too. What fishing show was it where it was just video and the guy sat there and narrated it. It was neat but it would also have been nice to here some audio from the boat. Maybe mix it up a bit. There are some really cool video editing programs out there. I bought one to do a video for my daughters volley ball banquet and was amazed at what you can do with it. Not saying you need to change anything because your videos are really cool. Are you still using that Flip? Bill, how much does a USB setup cost?

It is a good looking reel and I've seen some decent reviews online. Might have to try one at that price. Anybody know anything about their waders? Just figured out I could get the 11 year old setup with waders and boots for around $70. She won't use them a bunch, just a few trips here and there.
