  1. Glad you got on them Phil. When one brush pile starts to slow down, I usually just jump on down to the next one. You guys had a great day!
  2. Found 20 greys and 2 whites today. We need some rain bad. They were little itty bitty things and almost all dried up.
  3. Towards Galena. Upstream about 3/4 of a mile.
  4. Yes I did. I was only up there about 10 minutes though. I was scouting some things out for this weekend.
  5. You've come to a great place! Welcome to the forum.
  6. Hope you guys get a bucket full of them!
  7. Great video. Thanks for sharing that.
  8. I was up there for a few minutes tonight just before dark. Taylor shoals is loaded with them. There is no doubt that they are in there thicker than the vehicles and boat trailers stacked in the Blunks parking area. Getting them to bite is a different story.
  9. Mutton Creek Marina Campground was open 2 weeks ago. Nice place.
  10. I thought you were going to Arkansas????
  11. The Y store (gas station) at the intersection of HWY 76 and Y sells them. It about half way between Reeds Spring and Bridgeport.
  12. Why you got to be using that 7 letter curse word that starts with a "W"?
  13. I had a pretty tough day yesterday too. Had to work all day right next to the water. I could see the lake all day long and hear it calling my name.
  14. All of Spring is gonna happen this week. Crappie biting, white bass running, mushrooms popping, and youth Spring turkey season on Saturday. We've been waiting all winter for this.
  15. Sweet. This will be my 7th season of guiding there. There's a few fellas on this forum with some ties to that area.
  16. This is not the time of year to think about getting sleep. You had all winter to do that…….Good Luck!
  17. Welcome to the forum. Where did you guide at?
  18. I use to live in a subdivision in St. Peters that had 2 local ponds in the subdivision. Use to get a little fly fishing in just about every day. The blue gills in one pond averaged 8 inches. The other had 20+ pound grass carp in it. Those were a lot of fun on the fly rod.
  19. Sounds like fun. Gets a little too warm for me down here around that time of year though.
  20. Nice catch and great report. Thanks for sharing!
  21. Its been pretty good after dark and early in the morning. Should be pretty crowded down there this weekend.
  22. Thanks. Yeah, we really got into some big ones. The next couple of days are gonna be great fishing out there if anyone can get out there to fish.
  23. Great report. Pretty much had the same results yesterday. Picked up a couple keepers at each brush pile then had to move on. Thanks for sharing. i thought about switching to 1/8 oz. jig several times yesterday when the wind was blowing, but stayed with 1/16.
