  1. Thanks for the replies. Spoke with the fellas there in the shop and they informed me I'd have to wait till spring to get a permit, but as long as the boat was legal it was good to go.
  2. Straw Hat, The temp was 48-49 this afternoon. Caught 10-12 crappie, but only 6 worthy of the pan, and a 17" walleye. Fished from 2-4:45. Have a Merry Christmas! -ChipperT
  3. I recently bought a boat for fellows lake with a 40 hp motor, but not sure what i need to take with me to get the fellows lake permit. Tried calling and emailing the marina multiple times, but never heard back. I thought maybe some of the members that frequent Fellows might be able to answer these questions. 1. What documentation do they need? 2. Are the permits good for 1 year from date of purchase or 1 cendar year? 3. If the marina is closed for the season, how does a fella go about obtaining a permit so I can fish there this winter? Thanks in advance! ChipperT
  4. If extra weight is needed slide a bullet sinker(s) up the wire backwards and put a kink in the wire to hold them in place. This allows you to add or remove weight as needed without having to carry an assortment.
  5. The friday nighter out of Mill Creek is still on. Starts at 7:30 goes till 1:30. $65 with big bass and side pot.
  6. Fished Sunday from 7-4:30 out of Baxter. Caught 8 with 5 keepers, primarily coming on a jerk bait. Fished a lot of different areas with nothing to show for it. Pulled up to a point back in a creek and caught 5 in short order in less than 10fow. Tried to duplicate this, but no luck. Tough day for me...guess I should have plied the depths.
  7. Check out the Polar bear tournament. It alternates Stockton and pomme. Randy Conlon runs it. I believe it's $85 entry and runs from 7-3 on most sundays. It's a great tournament and very well ran. Look on the Missouri highway patrol website under regattas and you can see every registered tournament trail in MO.
  8. Where are you out of?

  9. Yes, it's still for sale

  10. He already answered 2 of your questions before you asked. 1/2 ounce, all white, and I imagine it's probably a war eagle jigging spoon. They make a very good spoon with good swivels and quality hooks. You should give em a look. Sorry to chime in, but hope this helps.
  11. "Crawler" is short for night crawler or live worms.
  12. Ozarkgunner - Sounds like you were above the 76 bridge, which is still the impoundment portion of the lake, so keeping walleye is fair game if you so choose to keep them. The bridge in reference is the 160 bridge you cross over heading to Shadow Rock from Forsyth.
  13. I was just posting on a thread on Bagnell Dam about the pipe by Kimberling Bridge that appears to dump sewage into the lake. Now please correct me if I'm wrong, but on more than one occasion (always at night) I've notice what smells like raw sewage to be boiling up from this pipe. It's located about 50 yards west of the Kimberling City bridge on the north bluff bank. The pipe is mostly underwater but you can see guy wires running down to it. Has anyone else seen or noticed this happening? Chipper T
