  1. I don't mean to laugh but some of the descriptions and the mental images of these worn mounts are funny.
  2. If I had just one color on Table Rock on moving baits such as grubs, swim baits, swimmin' minnows, spinner baits and the like it would be some variant of a smoke color (which Mouse is).
  3. War Eagle spinner bait in Mouse color.
  4. Good advice here. I don't think I have ever caught a jerk bait fish on TR in anything under 10 feet deep. Most of the time it is in the 15-25 feet range and usually around wood.
  5. Plug, These are not the standard Suspending Rogues that dive 3-5 feet. These are the "Perfect 10" Suspending Rogue models that dive to 10 feet.
  6. Don't know if that would be possible but would LOVE it. What can I say I am a visual learner.
  7. That's easy Champ.......just call Gary Pinkel! M! I! Z!
  8. Maybe some info on specifically targeting larger fish would be interesting. Numbers are fun...but in the end we are all looking for that fish of a lifetime right?
  9. I would like to hear more about cranking (deep and shallow) as well as spinner baits on TR. I spend the majority of time throwing jigs, soft plastics, finesse baits and jerk baits but would like to expand my horizons with different techniques I know I am not nearly as good with. Maybe a tutorial on A-Rigs as well as I have yet to catch anything but a few white bass on the darn things. I remember a couple of years ago Bill you did a podcast or two from your seminars and I loved being able to at least listen to them over the laptop. Thanks in advance. -Brett
  10. Just wondering on a typical trip how much time do you guys spend just scanning for fish? Do you scan each area with your electronics on the console before you even stop to fish an area you stop at?
  11. I have Sprint and I have never had an issue receiving the texts.
  12. There aren't any bugs. Probably a complaint that would be better aimed at their cell phone service provider if they don't receive the texts.
  13. I can see the signature on the back in the 2nd pic. Also Megabass has what is known as "straight eye" vs "down eye". I want to say Vision 110's made around 2005 or 06 had the straight eye and ones made since have the down eye. I could be wrong but I think that is the deal on them.
  14. I have a McStick with the chrome eaten off of it. Deadly when it is sunny out and the wind always helps. Nice report.
  15. They were just starting to go on the jerk bait when I was down there about 3 weeks ago. Looks like it might be in full swing now with all these reports rolling in on success on the sticker. Wish I could get back down there for a weekend. Jerk bait fishing is probably my #1 favorite way to catch them with top water being a close 2nd.
  16. You are right. My thumb has AIDS.
  17. I highly doubt it is a vitamin deficiency as I am 32 years old, eat well, take a multivitamin everyday and remain healthy and active. It is also the only spot on my body this happens.
  18. Nice report.
  19. Trust me. I have tried neosporin, as well as about 5 different moisturizing lotions, Husker Lotion, Aquaphor lotion.....nothing has really worked. Some have helped but I've had this dry patch of skin on finger print area of my thumb going on 3 years now. During the late spring and summer it softens up and is fine. When cold hits it drys out and eventually splits into a cut. Very frustrating.
  20. Will have to try this. Thanks for the tip Champ.
  21. 60% of the time they work every time. lol.
  22. Hey now! Some of my best days on the Rock were dragging a C-Rigged Fish Doctor! What does that say about me as a fisherman....am I desperate and any idiot can catch them on the turd worm? lol. I guess the word Desperation usually personifies my style of fishing.
  23. Looking forward to it again. Any idea what the payouts will be in 2014?
  24. Goes by a couple different names like the turd worm, french fry or even centipede. All basically one in the same. A real do nothing 4" stick worm. The Fish Doctor is made by Zoom Baits. Most guys throw it on a small carolina rig set up or split shot set up. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Zoom_Fish_Doctor_20pk/descpage-ZFDR.html
  25. ^^^----THIS. I don't even bother to waste my time on those stupid things in Table Rock unless it is in April and April only and I hit the Long Creek section of the Lake. Even then it is no guaranty.
