  1. I'm missing your reports, bill!!!
  2. Pretty good bite on Ned Rig and Split Shot this past weekend. 10-15 ft. Inside small pockets.
  3. The top picture includes Bombers and Hellbenders (made by Heddon). They were great trolling lures in the day!!!
  4. How they explained it on KY Lake was that the small Kys were so aggressive that they would (& had) over populate and diminish forage for the bigger fish. Taking shorts out for 3-4 years did seem to help. Not trying to stir the pot here, just though that might've been the point some of the Pros were trying to make. If it doesnt apply... OK.
  5. I think Kentucky implemented a shorter limit on Spots. It seems to have drastically improved the overall quality of all Bass species. I'm a huge advocate of catch and release, but those 12-13 inch Kys are mighty tasty!!!
  6. Champ 188... Are you referring to a normal C-rig with heavy sinker or a Finesse type split shot rig? Thx. PB
  7. Hey Bill... I thought that B.A.S.S. had banned the A-rig from their tournaments. Is that only in the Elite events???
  8. Bill... Just wondering, is there anything you like about Bass Pro Shops?
  9. So you're saying that Bass Pro helped sponsor and implement a program to plant brush piles in the lake just so they could sell lures to replace the lost ones?!? Really! That's what you're saying?!? Give me a break.
  10. Event is cancelled. Letters going out this week regarding entry fee refunds. We are working to reschedule later this year, but nothing finalized yet.
  11. All permits have been cancelled, so yes the tournamnet is cancelled. We will try our best to reschedule, but it will probably be in the late Summer or early Fall.
  12. Based on information & recommendations from MSWP & ACE we have cancelled. We will meet soon to determine if we can reschedule for later this year. Hope to get it done; it means a lot to us.
  13. I just received a call from the Regatta Office in Jeff City. They are pulling all Tournament Regatta permits through May 7th. Our tournament is cancelled. We will make every effort to reschedule at a later date.

  15. Could that be a very HEAVY RAIN column?

  17. Just wondering... How would the MDC know a SM bank from a 40 acre field? I've fished TR for 15 years, and I still find it difficult to locate quality SM areas. MDC is trying to help (IMO), but is there a way that someone could "guide" them to the appropraite areas for establishing brush piles?
  18. The one on the left looks like a "Red ear"!
  19. Scheduled for May 1st out of Port of Kimberling. Registration Friday night at Kimberling Inn or early Saturday AM at the Pavillion. Charity of Choice this year is "Care to Learn". We raised $12,500 last year and it was matched 4 to 1. We will give away a very nice ATV this year to one lucky participant, plus some nice door prizes, too. Hope to see you there. Brent Day (President, Missouri Lakes Bass Club)
