my son and i fished last night from 7:30-11. caught 10...largest 16"..rest were smaller to smallest. caught them in 12-15 ft. using jigs. long night for size of fish we caught. was nice to get a few hits though!

i agree white bass are terrible food. fun to catch taste like crap!.

night fishing is my cup of tea but the cold has me biting my lip...have not been out yet this year. did you catch your fish main lake or backwater? did you try plastics? did you try deeper cranks before dark? lived in cassville for 7 years loved the big m area. just asking thanks for the report...am feeling i need to get out and give it a try! like day fishing but there is just something special about night fishing.

we go in the mouth and insert the needle just above the bottom crusher into the stomach...let a few bubbles of air escape(hold the bass under water) thats all there is to it! much easier than going in the side of the fish!!!

my son and i fish night tournaments and fizz fish often...especially during the hot months( july& august). the fish are calmer in the live well and do not turn up sideways. it is easy to do. just make sure the needle is in the right place. see the video. we do not have fish die on us now like we did before using the fizz process. very important!

i always add ethanol treatment to any gas i put in my boats tank. i was also told to not use any octane above 87 when i bought my boat with a 150 merc...i have not violated that instruction. my motor is now nine years old and runs great. do these precautions make a diff. dont know? but will not change what works.....unless i hear reliable info diff..

or maybe i need to check mine...the only thing is it was reading the same on 2 diff finders?

my son and i fished out of cedar creek yesterday. fished 4 hours..caught 6... largest 3-7. crank baits. i cannot figure where all you guys are finding 50 degree water? water was 46-47 where we fished. i cannot imagine water warmer anywhere? i have seen posts on here of 50-55 for a couple of weeks now. i believe you guys need to check your gauges. i know for a fact the creeks are running 45...how can the main lake be warmer?

i love to catch white bass but return all to the water. in my opinion(not trying to be a troublemaker) they are terrible eating. why not return them to the water and let them spawn? think how many there would be to catch in a couple of years. crappie and walleye are excellent eating and they reproduce in large numbers. i realize the life of a white bass is short(5 years or less) but i still think they taste terrible. just sayin! hope all of you catch a bunch.

it is amazing to me how they do it. i am not good enough to fish with those people but still consider myself above average. no way could i catch 28lbs under any condition...except maybe dynamite! i have and always will refuse to fish an a-rig. i consider it a way to cheat. please i dont want to argue with anyone just my belief. even if i used one of those darn things i couldnt catch 28lbs! my son and i went fishing today. on the third cast i made caught a 4-14. that was it for me for the day. my son caught a small fish and that was it for him. we fished 4 hours. we caught both fish on jerkbaits. fished the baxter area. good luck to all

josh (no disrespect intended) i wish i were as good a fisherman as you are. hell i could use well rope and catch 'um. if i could catch as many fish as the pros i sure would not be fishing here. bottom line....FLOURO DOES MAKE A DIFF, WITHOUT QUESTION IN CLEAR WATER.

seagar red label...it cannot be beat. period! if you dont use flouro you should. it will increase your catch without question, especially on table rock. its not opinion its fact on mono vs flouro on clear lakes like the rock. any brand flouro beats mono on catch rates on clear lakes.

i use 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, &13 inch worms. i think the larger you go the larger the bass. but little bass will hit any size...so will the large bass. but as a general rule the larger you get in size..the fewer bites but general quality will be larger. just my experience for what its worth. even then there are exceptions. thats the reason bass fishing is always a challenge.....and fun! my best colors are green pumpkin for day and plum or black at night.

i agree with all above. if you think it helps go for it. i have done both, used and not used. im not certain it makes any difference. maybe hold the bait a little longer. its kind of like your favorite bait if you believe it helps it helps confidence more than anything.i now make my own scent...works as well as anything you buy. use it sometimes sometimes i dont.

i have the unit you show. you dont want it!!!!!!!!!! i am going to replace mine as soon as i have the extra money! dont ask why i dont like it...there are too many reasons to list. minnkota for me. just my preference...owned minnkota before. should not have changed.

i agree 100%...if you cant fish go ahead and use it. i fish a tournament series on table rock(not very well either) if i cant catch them with one lure i will not catch them period. its called "fishing" not dredging!

update-i have been turning my unit on and leaving it outside looking for satellites. its starting to pick up a few. maybe if you havent used yopurs in awhile it needs to update? try yours and see if you see improvement. its worth a try. seems to gain more satellites late in the evening sometime after seven oclock. it even locked on once for about 3 minutes. could not believe it! again worth a try!!!!!!!!! ill keep you updated if further improvement>

sorry rangerman i was afraid of that. if you discover a solution please let me and everyone else know. and you are right they are not cheap.i hope you find a solution i am still trying. will let you and everyone else know if i do!
