I don’t know about fishing being more expensive I basically quit playing when my oldest son was born...bought an old ranger bass boat...and started fishing because I felt like golf was selfish and fishing was something we could do as a family. big initial investment to buy a boat...but otherwise it’s only the price of gas for each trip the price of equipment is basically the same...I’m not the type to buy the latest and greatest. golf membership is expensive and it isn’t something that has a residual value like a boat does...you can always recoup part of the money from fishing...with golf it’s gone. Public land Hunting is an inexpensive hobby...the guns hold their value
