  1. Yes sir. I think the site is "show me lures" or something like that
  2. me too.
  3. that is nice! I just have the white little cup over my nose, an open window, and a big fan pointed out of said window lol!!
  4. If it's like that Sapzstix color shift paint, I think you'll like it. On all of the baits in these three pictures, the same color is on the top of each bait in each pic (Green/Purple/Teal color shift). As you can kind of see (never could figure out hot to get the flash to show all three shades at the same time), there is a lot of movement across the color spectrum depending on angle of light. My advice is to use a hi-gloss black for a primer coat if you want the top coat to have depth; a silver or white hi-gloss primer if you want it to "flash" more. I have found that if I'll take my time and let each coat completely dry, I can get 4 or 5 thick coats on there, and the color shift is really, really cool! These pictures show the color shift on a hi-gloss black primer: This last one is a different color shift pattern, but it's still cool (well, I think so anyways). It goes from a deep umber to gold depending on the angle. I was thinking might be a good scheme for a Wiggle Wart maybe?
  5. Thanks boss - I have a couple spook-type baits in that, and it really shines when the sun hits the water as the bait moves. That one is a Spazstix brand silver backer base coat and holographic top coat. The more coats, the more "pop" that silver gets. It's fun to work with - as long as the window is open and I am wearing a face mask. Might be fun with the facemask, now that I think about it.....
  6. Here are a few colors I am planning to try on jerk baits this winter - If I can ever remember to go downstairs and paint hahaha!! Of course, I also am a (whatever level is below "Novice") with jerk baits, so I usually end up disappointed, then give to my buddy - then he catches all the fish... Good thing he's my partner I guess
  7. Hey Champ- King's going to have his hands full a lot more than when he was playing with my Golden Retrievers this past week. That Mastiff / Pyrenees mix in the picture is almost as tall as King - only "Shiner" is just 8 months old haha!
  8. King's got a clean bill of health, a microchip, and all of his vaccinations. Oh - and a new little brother at his new forever home God is good, Ozark Family!
  9. Just smile and nod, brother..... Smile and nod :-)
  10. The best thing God has given the human race is his son, Jesus Christ. Second best are dogs. Hard not to do everything you can for a creature that exists solely to love someone, no matter their faults.
  11. I found a new home for "King" today. If you have fished Swepco the last couple of years, King is the HUGE white pup that lives right by the ramp. Miss Willa asked me to bring him home last Saturday and find him a new home :-) Tomorrow I'll take him to our vet ( check up and yearly shots) then on to his forever home. This pic won't really do his true size justice - he stands 29" at the hip!
  12. For this smile, I'll put up with a whole herd of ill-intentioned, snot nosed, toots Y'all have a great week!
  13. Y'all stay safe and I'll check in when we get back. We're leaving Saturday at 6:00am - taking my queen and my princess on a Disney Cruise. No fishing -but at least lots of water haha!!
  14. Atta-kid!
  15. On my Android phone: Red circle is the menu-thingy Then Browse selection And finally..... The chat deal!
  16. OK, so hypothetically speaking... Say someone, I dunno, didn't know how this chat thing works... Would there be instructions somewhere?
  17. I ended up putting in at Hickory and doing some Whopper Ploppin' for a couple hours. Caught a handful of wee lads. Black one as well as a shad looking one both caught fish. I have to get a bigger Whopper, because my little one only attracted little fish (story of my life).
  18. Or go on home and do a few chores to keep caught up for when the rain passes
  19. I figure the river by 412 will be so dirty by Saturday morning that it won't be worth fishing, really. But, I got a new bait, so I have to at least go throw it for a few minutes...
  20. dang it bub, don't start talking Grand... I don't want to drive all the way to Disney, but if I get to thinking too much I will!
  21. Guess I'll put in by the house again Saturday morning since the Hogs play at 11:00. And, I'll catch nada... But! The mail man brought a BassPro order yesterday, and I'll be Ploppin' my Whopper in the rain Saturday morning :-)
  22. "Swepco Season" starts in about three weeks, thank the Lord. I am looking forward to getting back to the "pet fish"
  23. Well fiddle - fished 7:00 - 11:00 today from 412 launch up to the cove past Kelly Creek. I had one bite, and it was a jig, and it was a perch. Shad flipping everywhere, but no schooling action. Water was pretty muddy as well. 67° at launch and 71° when I have up around 11:00. Wish I had more to offer.
  24. I literally fist pumped this morning when I saw the weather.
  25. Since I only know two things about My Lowrance Units: 1. Process for powering up 2. They still don't make a cable from cell phone to units for extra-large "Angry Birds Sessions".... I did a quick Google search - this link seems to have at least a little info on both? www.fishfinders.info/the-best-fishfinder-under-1000
