Looking forward to fishing with Chief, Dylan, and Drew later in October on the Little Niangua. KC

Please Phil... RESCUE US! You and Bill are having too much fun to care. That's ok, I'll be away from the keyboard for two weeks starting on the 25th. Not that I contribute much... gonna fish the Rogue River in Oregon for steelhead after a stop in Arizona. I'll have a report with some nice pics hopefully.

Go upstream and give Karen some business at Cedar Camp. She's on Bannister Hollow Rd. (NN Hwy.) between Climax Springs and Macks Creek. Usually some decent fishing up that way. Haven't caught anything huge, but at least you can usually catch fish.

C'mon... Raquel Welch at 70? STILL HOT! And I ain't close to 70... On the other hand, I'd associate lame-brained Sarah and the number 70 with the number of times I'd like to punch her in the mouth!

A purdy little hornyhead though... no horny's (warts) on it's head. Least that's what I call 'em, and while fishing by yourself they provide a little conversation while unhooking.

I'm a Shimano guy too Eric. Love those reels. I do have a little Shakesphere that I like also. They've inproved. Gonna breakdown and buy a baitcaster after fishing with Chief, Buzz, Dylan, and Chief's dad.

Al, if you're questioning the numbers caught from a typical angler who in your estimate fishes a five-mile stretch hard versus an angler such as your self who catches 300 plus fish in a 30 mile stretch over 2 and a half days on the river runnin' and gunnin' (when in the heck did you ever have a paddle in your hand bud?) Whew... where was I heading? Oh yea...

Well said Chief. Fish pics on the forum are fine. Stories about hundreds of fish caught? Fine too. Stories about a bunch of guys, especially with kids, bonding and doing the thing we love? PRICELESS!!!!! I don't give a crap if it brings anybody to the state of boredom!

Hey there PEE! Settle down brother. You need to follow along bud! I'm wondering how old you are coming up with a catchy name such as yours? Are you mature enough to use the words "bastards" and "Mister Agnew" in the same post? Get out and fish... and post something worthwhile! In the meantime, continue penning songs for The Carpenters you wimp. Wait... oh crap! I liked them! Looking forward to either drowning ya or fishing with ya down the road...

There are no pics associated with this report. There was no reason to take any. The smallmouth, largemouth, kentuckies, or perch that were caught we've all seen before. Fishing according to the guru was below average for the day, except for the 4# or so channel I caught on a crank. Had the pleasure of floating and fishing with a 72 year old guy... 20 plus years my senior who has fished the streams of southwest Missouri since he was a kid. One of the best days on a stream in my life. He knew the stream very well and it didn't take too long to realize the fish weren't gonna cooperate all that well. Still, the knowledge he instilled upon me during the float, the skill he had in paddling and positioning a canoe (he would not let me pick my paddle up to help), and the conversation, ribbin', jokes, and laughter we shared made it a day to remember. A guru is a wizard of a skill and has the ability to share their knowledge or expertise with others according to some definitions. It was a freakin' awesome day! By the way... the guru's prodigy's were with me... and a quick shout out to Wounded One and Ian. Fun day you guys!!!
