  1. Besides the great owners, Nancy and Basil Ellis, the reasonable rooms and launch ramp are big draws for us at Harper's Valley in Kimberling City.
  2. Yeah, I noticed that. Got all pumped over some of my picks and when I looked today it was very different.
  3. I did! I did! Of course, I also picked Chris Last Place Lane.
  4. Thanks, Vernon. I get it. Maybe we need an "agree" button, as well as like. lol
  5. We're going fishing somewhere tomorrow. This was a long day. Too wet to fish, too wet to golf and too boring at home. lol Or, too many chores. We got out and about in Bella Vista and Bentonville this afternoon. Nuts. All the golf courses are under wonder. Lake Bella Vista is creeping toward 71N. Multiple wrecks and stop lights out.
  6. Agreed. I love those brown fish. Heck, they even pull hard on a baitcasting rig. Many a time me or Champ188 would think we had a humdinger hooked up only to discover it was a little scrappy, mean brownie.
  7. Dang it. I picked the wrong Lane, but I have three up there pretty good.
  8. I'm kinda spread out. 20th, 53rd, two tied at 60th and 70th something, I think.
  9. Some of them are pretty hilarious, but I'm sure especially so to people who don't fish. I watch nearly all of the ones featuring bass. There's two I just can't handle...way too lame, otherwise we DO record them to watch later and sometimes twice. lol I've got a Bass Pros saved so I can watch Rick Clunn (again) modify crank banks to suspend like jerk baits.
  10. Wonder how much that cost? ?
  11. It was fun, for sure. Same thing happened with the weightless Senko i was throwing. It barely hit the water a few times and I'd see my line take off, primarily when I was fishing dirt shallow. Guessing I got near a bed. We did see several beds with males locked down.
  12. We're on the trailer. Waited out the storm in a carwash while uncovering the boat and getting in our rain gear. Think we finally splashed 10:30 or so. Had a real good day. I'll let Champ188 fill in the details. Senko, Ned and shaky head did most of the damage with a few on top water and swim bait. 66-68 WT.
  13. Dang. You're on to us. Sitting in a carwash so we get the cover off and rain gear on. We're serious about winning the derby. Practicing in the rain.?
  14. More to follow. Raining buckets and lightning.
  15. What do you use for a weight? I prefer to have mine Texas Rigged, as well, so that I can swim it through tight cover
  16. I know an original when I see one, baby.
  17. Just keep the food dry and I won't care if it rains. God bless Gore Tex.
  18. One of my favorite things about the Keitechs. Have tried some copycats that are immediately noticeable as NOT the same when you start the retrieve and see that you're missing the great Keitech tail action.
  19. Shoot. I had what I made for the original date hanging out in the fridge, now I have to make fresh? ?
  20. Please don't subpoena me.
  21. Until you said "sorted" and my mind went to organized, I thought you were referring to Champ188, but I didn't think you had been to our house before. ?
