They will hit the wart this time of year. Like Bill said though pick your conditions to throw it. Windy banks cloud cover. You mentioned the shad rap too. It will work on this lake too, the no 7 will catch more fish but the no.9 wll catch better size. They are a pain to throw as they catch to much wind. No doupt in my mind I could go out today and catch some on the wart but I would rather be throwing the jig. If thats your confidnce bait throw it.

Started at daylight throwing the spook. Had two 15 inch smallies in 30 minutes. then it got tougher, lots of short ky. What up with that, when the spots move in do the smallies say there goes the neighborhood and leave? Had to back off , boat in 25-30ft throwing the jig. Only short fish bit. Had a nice 3+ black on the spook up tight to some shallow bushes. thought it would be really good today,heavy cloud cover, nice breeze. Fished from point 7 to point 2 all the same results short short short. It was still a great day to be fishing, back to the oh grind. Bill thats a date when I get back down.

RPS, was using the full size spook, light green and clear. Tried a redfin but they wouldnt touch it.

Fished this am from point 5 to point 7. The spook was king today and were still hitting it when I quit at noon . Jig and twin tail grub was good to but nothing like the spook bite. All smallies and ky. My best 5 were around 15 pounds all smallies. Dont think I had a short SJ all day. Kept the boat in 16- 20 ft of water. Did have some short spots and some nice keepers too. I took a couple of pics early before the rain, but didnt get the camera back out as I didnt want it to get wet. Good day in the rain!

I still think you are confused. Point 18 -21 is up the white not near Indian point. Anyway my fish yesterday were on all types of bank, pea shelf rock, but shallow, boat in about 12- 16ft of water.

Fished the dam area. Had my brother in law with me. I was supposed to pic him up a Moonshine at 7am he didnt show until 7:45 and he only lives 2 miles down the road! If he was to hire a guide they would put him out on the bank after the first hour, but I have to put up with it to keep family peace. Anyway caught lots of smallies on a jig with a twin tail grub. I also was swimming a twin tail grub and most my fish came off of it. I finanaly found some KY all nice size 2- 3 pounds. Had 4-5 of these guys swimming the grub 16 -20 ft. Had 1 rouge black, 1 walleye and a nice channel cat. The cat satisfied the brother in law for somthing to eat so I didnt have to argue with him when I threw the KY's and smallies back in the water. He wants to eat everything we catch ,geeeez. I stole a picture from Bill and if you notice the background where he is holding a nice smallie ad me where I am holding the channel cat. Same spot. Around 30-35 fish total 5 maybe 6 keepers out of the bunch. Heading back out this am to new water.Oh there were lots of pro am guys running around getting ready for there championship.

Same area I was fishing in August. Then it was all dinks. There some good bushes in the back of those cuts .

Brian, he did no other damage other than to the cash register. The door was an eay fix too. He just lived 2 blocks from our store in an upstairs apt. No money was found on him at time of arrest, he had about two hours in between thefts. Police went to search his apartment but was denied permission to search by girlfriend. Eye witneess is going down to the jail to ID him this afternoon. If he does ID him his goose is cooked on my breakin.

Last night at 22 hours got a call from Cartahge PD that our store had been broken into. When I arrived the crook had gained entry by kicking in a door that went to the basement. He went straight upstairs to the cash register and smashed it getting around $200. He was seen by a witness leaving the scene. When the police had finished I locked up and visited with the officer for a few minutes in the street. I jumped in my car and left. The officer when getting back into his car heard a loud crash and walked 20 yards to the store next to ours. The idiot had broken into there store and the officer caught him red handed wth the cash register in his hands. What a idiot! The officer who by the way was very young got to udder the words 10-26 at gunpoint. Probabbly the first time he ever got to draw his weapon. Way to go Patrolman Nate Moore!! They are still trying to tie him to my theft, but to me its a no brainer. How did I do on my cop talk Techo?

A husband walks into Victoria's Secret to purchase a sheer negligee for his wife. He is shown several possibilities that range from $250 to $500 in price - the more sheer, the higher the price. By all means do nothing that might trigger a coughing fit, or uncontrollable laughter, cuz you'll pass out. Hope you heal more gracefully than I did. The coughing or laughter is the worst pain. Dont think I am being very gracefull either. RPS I have not been to the Dr. as I believe all they will say is , yep its broke, go home and it will heal in about 6 weeks. The Ibuprofen dulls the pain pretty good so dont need any pain meds. Just hate to waste the money for a Doc. Canceled our insurance last Feb as they raised the rates to $1000. a month. Just playing the wait game until all this insurance mess gets squared away.
