The yak have it figured out. Catch, measure, take picture on board and release. They then if they wish send picture to tournament judges and they put it in an online leaderboard. Total inches on best 5.

I think they need to go back to 18 in limit on the eyes. Was very disappointed in MDC when they changed it to 15.

Marlon was a carthage native. There's a big bronze statue of him in central park in carthage. I remember he had another sidekick, belive his name was Stan. He always went barefoot running around the jungles.

Instead of paying a launch fee you could opt for the bring a bass program. Catch one from a farm pond or other impoundment and release it when you put in.

One good thing about having a hook in your body somewhere is the ER considers it a Foreign object in your body and you get to cut ahead of the runny nosed welfare kids. I know from experience.

Bill is the Chuck Norris of table rock! He doesn't use a rod and reel, just stares in the water and the fish get scared and jump in the boat.

When the whites school in huge numbers , you will see many boats side by side. I have many times inside moonshine been fishing for them with 20 or more boats within casting distance of me. All our fish finders are scrambled due to the close proximity. We all converse and yuk it up while the bite lasts. Wonder why when we change species out attitudes change?

What I heard yak tourny took 77 inches to win. My son took big bass with a 22 incher.

There's a yak tournament out of Indian point tomorrow weather permitting. Watch out for these guys and give em some space. They can launch anywhere on the lake , but suspect most will be around indian point. They set small in the water so be alert. Oh yeh, my son is fishing it.

I caught one a few years back around indian point, but they are scarce.

I got that way several years ago. More fun to just fish. Lost the competitive spirt. Not saying I won't fish one from time to time when the mood strikes me.
