Unloading furniture last night from a big rig into my truck. Fell out of the trailer onto the edge of the floor on my truck. Didnt hurt real bad until a couple hours later, then extreme man pain. Had to take the furniture to Berryville this morning. Boy 86 hwy around Eagle Rock area was sure rough due to resurfacing and was killing my rib and back in that bouncy truck. Thought about hurling my body over the bridge at Eagle Rock to end the pain. Got to my destination and my customer and another guy unloaded for me, whew! Never had a broken rib before , but it sure is painful. Ibuprofen knocks the edge off. Nothing but time about 6 weeks to heal. Bet I can still fish though, might have to have a driver though as getting up out of the seat might be a killer. Lash me to the front pedestal so I can stay standing up.

Techo, just thought it was news worthy as the teachers at the crime lab were talking about it. Guess not.

My son was telling me they are talking about this at the Police Acadamy where he is attending. Drug use even dirtier with 'jenkem' becoming popular Valeriya Ivanova Issue date: 4/9/08 Section: Features PrintEmail Article Tools Page 1 of 2 next > What do you think of when you hear the words urine or fecal matter? More commonly, people may think the terms are disgusting, or they may think of the bathroom. Today, though, they are two things you will find in the main ingredient list for a new drug: jenkem, or butthash. Other reported slang terms of jenkem are: winnie, dung, runners, fruit from crack pipe, leroy jenkems, might and waste. The drug originated in third world countries, including locations within Africa. It is a homemade drug created from human urine and fecal matter. The waste is placed into a bottle or a jar, which is then covered with a balloon. Next, the bottle is left in the sun until its contents are fermented. The users inhale methane gas captured inside the balloon for a reportedly euphoric high and the experience of hallucinations. The downside, besides smelling like waste, is the taste of sewage left in your mouth. This lasts for several days. In 1999, the BBC reported jenkem as a drug being used by children in Zambia, especially in the city of Lusaka. Often, substance abuse offers the children a temporary escape from a harsh world, and jenkem provided a clear route toward a high without spending much money - just a little quality time by the sewer. "They say it keeps them warm and makes them fearless," John C. Zulu, director of the Ministry of Sport, Youth and Child Development in Zambia said. "Nobody knows exactly where the idea for making Jenkem came from, but it has been used by street children in Lusaka for at least two years," BBC reported. "Nason Banda of the Drug Enforcement Agency is not proud when he says that it is unique to Zambia." During September 2007, a bulletin post from the Collier County Sheriff's Office intended for interdepartmental use only was linked to public Internet users across the nation stating jenkem had entered the U.S. borders. The bulletin was posted after a concerned parent emailed the sheriff's office claiming their child overheard discussions about the drug at the Palmetto Ridge High School.

Are the white bass all ganged up and going threw the whole lake eating everything the can get? Or is it just the local area populations we are seeing ? Just seems like from the reports on them the entire lake population formed a giant gang and are reaking destruction everywhere they go.

“Don’t move a mussel” during Labor Day weekend Boaters can keep the clammy hands of invasive species off Missouri waters. JEFFERSON CITY – With Labor Day coming up, the Missouri Department of Conservation is urging boaters and anglers to be aware of the danger that invasive aquatic plants and animals pose for Show-Me State waters and take measures to prevent their spread. Invasive Species Coordinator Tim Banek said zebra mussel larvae, known as velligers, were found in recent surveys of microscopic plants and animals at Pomme de Terre Lake in southwest Missouri. He said that as adults, the fingernail-sized invaders could interfere with the established food chain in Missouri lakes and streams, making them less productive for sport fish and replacing native animals. “We don’t know exactly what changes might occur, but other areas where zebra mussels have taken hold have experienced ecological changes that were bad for fishing and tourism,” said Banek. “Missourians can avoid spreading zebra mussels with some reasonably simple precautions.” Banek urged the thousands of Missourians who will be out fishing and boating during the long Labor Day weekend to take the following precautions: · Inspect submerged portions of boats for adult zebra mussels after each use. Adults are fingernail sized with dark and light stripes. Small zebra mussels give hard surfaces a sandpapery feel. · Check trailers, ropes, minnow buckets and anything else that was in the water. Report any suspected zebra mussels to the nearest Conservation Department office. · Remove suspected zebra mussels, along with vegetation or other material clinging to boats and trailers and put it in a trash container. · Rinse boat bilges, trailers, motor drive units and live wells with water at least 104 degrees if live zebra mussels are found, or if your craft has been in waters known to be infested with zebra mussels. Most commercial car washes meet this standard. Allow boats and other equipment to dry in the sun at least five days before re-launching. Anglers have a special role to play in preventing the spread of other invasive aquatic plants and animals, such as the rusty crayfish and Asian carp. One of the best things anglers can do is dispose of live bait properly. Unused bait should be placed in trash bags and deposited in trash receptacles away from water. Never release unused bait – whether fish, worms, crayfish or anything else – into lakes or streams unless it came from the same water. Boaters can prevent invasive plants and animals from hitching a ride by draining all water from bilges and live wells and removing vegetation and other trash from boats and trailers when they move them from one body of water to another. More information about invasive aquatic species prevention is available at invasivespeciesinfo.gov/aquatics/main.shtml. -Jim Low-

Chief, we use Pay pal at our store. We have sold alot of furniture through Ebay. If you have a pay pal account you are set up for selling to. The buyer that wins your item just clicks on the pay for button and takes them to pay pal. They enter your email address and poof it goes into your pay pay account. You can let the money lie there or transfer it to your regular bank account. By the way I have a bunch of the h@s spinners that I think I read somewhere that you like that I would like to sell cheap (brand new) . Bet I have a 100 of them, say .40 apiece. I think they sell for a $1.19 apiece retail.

Thats bold talk for a one eyed fat man!!!

I think education is a must for every job, but your post is just mean spirited, just another jab. RANDY BLAUKAT has a law degree, hmm what does he do for a living? Guess he can go back to law practice if the tourny thing doesnt work out.

denjac replied to motoman's topic in Table Rock Lake
I catch more on the non feathered jerkbait. I have some slasher baits but seem to do better on pointers and Luck Craft type baits. -

Small, Clear, Low Summer Summer Smallies
denjac replied to Al Agnew's topic in General Angling Discussion
Don't forget the little black buzzbait !!!! I ripped em last week on center creek with it. If they missed it they would hit it 2-4 times until they got stuck. They wanted it bad. -
I would think $30 - $50. is enough. All depends on how far you run and most likely to his fish. Some guys are differant though, ask em up front before you take off.
