Got to the launch at 0700, which is just at dawn this time of year. Air temp was at 44, and there I was wearing shorts. Fortunately things warmed up fairly quickly, and by 10 AM I felt like Lawrence of Arabia crossing the Sinai on a camel. Well, I was in a boat and not riding a camel, and it was Table Rock and not the Sinai.
And my name is not Lawrence.
But with that sun beating down on me and no wind, I was feeling like I was out in the desert.
As far as the fishing, it was fair, caught 15 bass, mostly spots, nothing over 15". Most came on slowly dragging a 1/2 oz jig with 3/4 of a Structure Big as a trailer. Had a couple early on a top water.
Water temp was 70-72.
