    Shockers!

Felt bad for that Shocker fan girl crying her eyes out. Tough loss.

    Shockers!

Yep wrong guy took the shot.
  3. Red is a popular crank color lately.

    Shockers!

They are legit IMO. But something to consider is that Arkansas beat KY twice this year.
  5. LOL, oops. Congrats to your buddy!
  6. My SE MO granddad called them Grinnel also.
  7. Beaver still fishing tough. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AvvA_8OrN5YgdDl1MVpZcXpwMVV0RGQ3RUEzWXZaZWc&usp=sharing#gid=0
  8. That's some awesome fishing, thanks for the report!
  9. Nice spot Thumbs, thanks for the report!
  10. Welcome!
  11. Crappie and whites gonna be in trouble!
  12. I wish someone would manufacture the jig heads for this rig. Mondo tackle carries them under the FIN S brand, but they are unpainted and lack the weed guard. I don't see much "marketing" or promotion going on here, just fishermen willing to help each other out. And as durable as the Elaztech baits are, no one is going to make a killing selling them to guys fishing the Ned rig. Your average weekend fisherman could probably get by on 4 bags of these worms a year, especially if you're swimming them on gravel points.
  13. Yep if it's a crank fest you can't count out KVD. I'm with J-Doc on Palaniuk having a shot also. Randy Howell is someone to watch, Tak Omori, Edwin Evers, Can't rule out Aaron Martens either. Should be a good one!
  14. Great fish, congrats!

    First Round

The Vols beat up UMass. I'm looking at the Vols as sort of a proxy for Arkansas and Mizzou. It will be interesting to see how a mid-level SEC team like Tennessee does, considering how much we've heard about the SEC being weak once you get past FL and KY. The Vols bigs have some skill and play D well, they could be a tough out going forward.
  16. No, but they look like they could work. Might also make a good jig trailer.
  17. What is a choupique?
  18. Thanks for the links!
  19. A good test is to look at the tail, in general, rainbows will have spots on the tail, browns not.
  20. It snuck up on me, just realized the tourney starts in 2 weeks. April 3rd. Just looking at the long range forecast, cool weather next week, and 60's the following week, I'm thinking that the bass won't be on beds yet. So what do you guys think they'll throw? Who is your favorite to win? What weight to take it?

    First Round

Watched most of the St. Louis game, kept switching between it and the ND State upset over Oklahoma. I thought SLU was dead, but the foul them immediately strategy paid off as NC State stunk at the free throw stripe. I haven't watched SLU much this year, but I was impressed by how hard Jordair Jett (what a name!) played throughout the game.
  22. Lily is doing good on that jig, I keep trying one but just can't make them work.
  23. It must have been me, I didn't fish Carter, but drove by there. Good idea on the big 5" tube, that's something I should try as the fish get more aggressive.
  24. Are you targeting wallies or bass? Alex had some wallie type activity on the A--rig yesterday, tails nipped off of flukes, holes in same. I think there's some wallies on some of the rocky points off cove mouths. No one seems to be targeting them, not that there's a lot of them, but there are some.
  25. Just when you think you've got them figured out, they throw you a curve ball. Or maybe it's the weather change that is at fault, it sure was nice weather today compared to yesterday. Caught 7 bass, 3 came right away on the 1st bank I fished, then I spend the next 5 hours fishing to get 4 more. The K's seem to have left for parts unknown today. A couple of decent fish, a 3 lber being biggest. Again on the tube, though I did try a jerk bait, crank, and the Ned rig. The bass this year in the White channel seem to be bigger on average than last year. There was a strong class of 13-14" LM's last year and I believe the survivors from that group are now in the 15-17" range. Water temps 43-47.
