I respectfully disagree, yeah the media is creating a mini-circus, but Sam is not trying too hard to avoid it. There's money to be made, and as I said before, there's no such thing as bad publicity. Sam realizes this and is starting to capitalize on it. And good for him, I just hope he can handle it.

LOL, yeah I had to get back to Big M today and get my fix.

Fish are still biting, got off to a slow start in the fog and calm water, but found some good bites later in the AM on banks and coves with some breeze on them. Fish seem to be moving out towards the main channel points as that was where our best fishing was. Between me and my buddy Jeb, we boated 60, a mix of spots and LM's (only one dink smallie).. Quality was good, quite a few in the 2 -3 lb. range. Best bites were on c-rigged Zoom UV Speed Craws, Megabugs and Speed Craws on wobble heads. Fish also were a bit deeper, some we caught were as far as 20 feet out, but I'd say 10 feet was about the best depth. Water temps 64 - 65. Visibility continues to improve up the White channel, could see bottom in 10 FOW. Brought home 3 keeper walleye for the fryer.

Need to correct that, I have caught them, but in the Beaver tailwater, never out in the main lake.

I've heard of people catching them in the Rock but never have done so myself.

Oh yeah? I release walleye. Best eating fish around here are blue cats from Grand lake (smaller ones).

I remember reading one of the pros saying you could burn 5,000 calories a day throwing deep cranks for 8 hours.

If I was going to fish BSL, I'd bring the bass stuff also. Catch your limit of walleye, then spank some bass.

Are your pics stored on your PC? If so, try right clicking on one of them, then select "Edit" from the drop down window. You should then get palette with your pic in it and on the toolbar select "resize". Then you should get an option to resize selecting "pixels". Lower the pixel choices and the total file size will drop and you'll be able to post your pics.
