  1. Nice little snowfall today. Wish it would go away. Oh well, I think there's a football game on later today.
  2. Good prices on Lucky Craft Pointers with that discount and they have a reasonable selection.
  3. Looks like a great day! Some cool color on that 1st rainbow pic. Some scrambled genetics on hatchery rainbows, but they should be spawning, or attempting to spawn before long and getting their spawning colors.
  4. Hard to tell from that pic, but it looks like a really clean boat for it's age.
  5. Thumbs, you deserve a good sack if you're going fishing today. It's a cold one out there!
  6. Yeah you're right, 25% on a rod or reel is a sweet deal. I just got an email from American Legacy and they are selling Daiwa Tatulas for $149 this week. I'd like to check one out, lots of good reviews, but I've got plenty of bait casters.
  7. I like the look of the bait keepers also, looks like they'll hold a bait well.
  8. Tough loss for Mizzou. On the positive side, Jabari Brown seems to look better every game, he had a great game today, but he needs support. Mizzou definitely needs inside D, Kentucky was able to drive inside the paint all game, it wasn't quite as easy for them in the 2nd half, but in the last minute they got some fairly easy inside buckets, and as Al mentioned if the penetration was stopped, they kicked it outside for a jumper.
  9. I can't remember ever catching a drum in Table Rock or Beaver, there are a few in those lakes, but every time I fish an Oklahoma lake it seems I'll catch some. They usually hit pretty hard and fight hard for about 10 seconds and then give up. Fun to catch.
  10. Wow some impressive bags. I have to think it was all A-rig.
  11. Thanks (I think).
  12. I like the way they look, but I can see dtrs point about the pointy head.
  13. Never have fished a frog in the weeds, but it's funny watching the guys who do on the fishing shows. They bring in a big wad of weeds and somewhere inside that stuff is a bass. Would you like a salad with that bass, sir?
  14. That would be interesting, to watch those drum hunt craws. Those drum will really hammer a jig.
  15. With a fixed bobber you can slowly work the fly back to you and maintain the depth of the fly, with a slip bobber you're going to pull the line through the bobber when you retrieve it and pull the jig up through the water.
  16. I'm getting an IE error. The web pager pops up (it asks me to sign in) but the video window errors out.
  17. I never have seen one of those scooped out bill Warts before. I did see some of the old model "suspend" Warts. They stuck a suspend dot just behind the bill. I've done that with a couple of Warts, just haven't had time to fish them yet.
  18. Got the DVR set, probably watch the game tonight.
  19. Good dog pics.
  20. You need to leave a big loop to work those thing through, LOL.
  21. I'm going to have to try some Nanofil based on all the positive stuff about it I've read here.
  22. Welcome!
  23. I did not know he had passed. Sorry to hear that. I never met him, but saw him in a couple of fishing shows and read about him in fishing articles.
  24. Fished it a bit for the first time last year. Found some spots on a bluff end one day and caught maybe 10 from the one bluff end. All sub-legals however. Only good experience I've had with the F-n-F. I'll probably try it a bit more this year if the weather ever starts to warm up. Babler caught a couple of 9 lb. bass on it a couple of years ago on the F-N-F during pre-spawn.
