After finding a bit of a bite Sunday late in the day, I though I had things figured out - but I was wrong. Worked hard to get 10 bass, only 2 keepers. Fishing a Zoom Centipede Texas rigged with a 3/16 oz weight in water that was 10-25 feet deep off steep banks produced the most bites. Got a bit of a breeze for about an hour and threw a crank bait for a bit and picked up a couple of 12" bass doing that.
Talked to another guy that came in the same time I did, and he had about the same results as me.
With this cold front coming in, it will probably be a couple of weeks until I get out to the Rock again. I need to get over to Swepco also. There should start to be a good jerk bait bite here on the Bella Vista lakes after this cold front moves on.
My trolling motor batteries are just about done, I hate buying new batteries.
