Yeah maybe that's it Seth. But I think they need to look at their survey process, because they must be missing some folks. Maybe all the catch and release guys are miles away from the launch (or wherever it is they do these surveys) by the time the surveyors show up.
This statement surprises me: " They said that angler surveys showed no support for catch and release."
Who the heck are they surveying? I know several river smallmouth fishermen and they are all catch and release types. I know there are folks out there that keep their fish, but I have to think that at best they are about half the fishermen out there.
Pretty much invalidates a lot of what they are saying if they think that there is no support for catch and release fishing.
Interesting quick read on lead mining in SE MO. I didn't realize that it had been started back in the 1700's by the French.

A good idea - I'm like you though, I put it in the glove box, and if I do take it out, I try and stay somewhere in the boat where if I drop it, it will stay in the boat.
A crucial call for sure. I played a lot of pickup ball back in the day, but never for money. I could see where things could get heated if there is money on the line.
Getting in the excuses before the series starts?
KC loses the DH. And I'd have to say, the pitching matchups favor the Cards.
If KC takes 2 out of 3, I will be very happy.
Never been checked, but I haven't been here since the lake was filled. Haven't been checked in Arkansas as a matter of fact, been here 8 years.
Been checked once in MO.
It's in Fort Smith off HWY 71, runs right by the Bella Vista restaurant. I bet you thought we were talking about the city of Bella Vista, no we were not. All the creeks around here are dry as they use all the water to water the golf courses.
As far as I know, traveling is traveling, whether taking a shot, going out of bounds etc., I would have to see you on slow motion replay from several angles before I could make a call on whether or not you were traveling.
Disclaimer: I have never been a basketball ref.
That would be weird if it is just OA. Could be a problem with his security software, . I am wondering what he sees when he tried to access OA? Any kind of error message or anything like that.
Interesting. You would think that they would have planned on floods, but maybe this is experimental and will go down as a lesson learned. My guess is that there is not enough money in the budget to do a big solution such as diverting the river and then cleaning out the river bed.
