  1. Yeah I could watch that video and think of other brands of those baits I could use that I already have in my possession and not feel the urge to purchase. I like those kinds of videos.
  2. And once closed, that's it - they'll never re-open. At least as a COE park.
  3. I haven't fished a 110 + 1 myself. But in the past, sometimes you find a few fish on a spot that eat the shallower bait like a 110, you can go back with a deeper bait and pick some more up. I like McRips and Pointer DD's and XD's.
  4. Should be more to follow, released once a week.
  5. Catch a 100 bass on a lure makes it worth $24.
  6. Some cold water fishing on Guntersville. Nicely done video, I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. http://www.bassmaster.com/video/projectz
  7. Add Rapala Shad Raps, size 5 to the list of white bass catchers. I haven't tried them on whites, but I bet the white marabou Zig Jigs would smoke them.
  8. Sorry to hear the fish are still not cooperating. Seems to be it's a-rig or die right now. I'm going to see if I can make it through the winter without throwing the rig (pretty easy to do when you can't fish because of the weather). But I don't fish tourneys. From what I can tell, if you want to win a tourney you have to throw the rig.
  9. Very nice web site, good job!
  10. I think it was 3 years ago, AGC stocked some cats in the Buffalo. It was an effort to improve the population. Haven't heard anything more since then.
  11. There's an annual tournament in Texas - can't remember the name, it's held at Lake Conroe outside of Houston, made up of pros from the FLW and Elite series. The lake has a 1 fish only regulation and it's a slot limit, so if they get one that's in the slot they'll keep it to show at the weigh-in, but all others are weighed and released. They have a marshal on board that verifies the weight with the pro. Since the tourney is televised they have some video on some of the boats, but it is not there as a weight verification tool. The format seems to work well, and I don' see why it could not be used on the bigger tournaments where you have plenty of volunteers to be marshals.
  12. That looks deadly..
  13. I'm hoping you're right. I hate those things.
  14. First time I've heard about that "secret" provision. They could have a great product, but still be a poorly run company. And that info won't be public until after the IPO. Oh well.
  15. Saw the scores in the paper and looks like Mizou lost to Ol' Miss. I haven't seen Miss. play but they must have a fairly decent team. It seems no one can emerge from that mid-tier of SEC teams to challenge Kentucky and Florida.
  16. Yep that's my problem - I'm not fishing! But it looks like later this week I may have a chance to get out.
  17. I missed that one, thanks for posting!
  18. This is a symptom of severe cabin fever.
  19. Some nice chunks there, thanks for the report.
  20. I never have been a fan of highly publicized initial offerings. The big brokerage firms get in at the offering price, buy up all the stock and then sell it to the public at a huge mark-up. I like Go-Pros products but don't know enough about their financial situation to make any kind of prediction on how it does.
  21. Those are big ones!
  22. Yeah this weather stinks. I am also sorting/re-arranging/organizing lures and tackle.
  23. I bet Shaw Grigsby was wishing he had a net when he got that 5+ lb. smallie to the boat only to see it pull off the hook. Not that he would have caught KVD anyway.
