@BilletHead Do you guys eat the white stems raw?
I've never grown Boy Choi but got it a couple times when I belonged to a CSA a couple years ago. I always did a quick stir fry and liked it. Never crossed my mind to grow though. Might throw some in after the early lettuce comes out. If I can get some seeds. All the online places I've looked at the last couple weeks are backed up and not taking orders.
Anyhoo -- tonight it was a new recipe for us. Kathy's had a hankerin' for a chicken, pasta and artichoke heart dish. Found one she liked and whipped it up tonight. Pretty good, but we'll make some tweaks next time. Grilled chicken, artichoke hearts, ness-dried tomatoes from last summer, heavy cream and parmesan cheese.
This was the first time we've used the our own dried tomatoes, and they were delicious. Thanks for the idea and tutelage, @BilletHead ! We're gonna double them up in the recipe next time. Big bursts of tomato flavor. It was our favorite part of the dish.
