  1. Well done... Those are some solid river bass
  2. Well done Wrench! Those are some studs!!!!
  3. Monster bags are being caught deep on bluff ends and mainlake points. It's basically taken 23-25 lbs to win for the last 3 or 4 weeks. Big jigs, big worms, magnum shakey heads, swimbaits, 6xd's... Glad to hear some nice fish are still shallow cause I sure as hell don't know how to consistently catch them deep. I've pretty much decided I'm ready to pay a guide to show me the deep post spawn deal next year.
  4. I have seen otters on this particular stream multiple times. Not sure if that's the issue but it's definitely a possibility
  5. I am really hoping you aren't talk about the stream I think you are... but I'm pretty sure I know which one you are referring to. Makes me sad... I started fishing it in college and had some very memorable trips on it. Even the last 3 summers were pretty good. Only hit it about once a year.
  6. http://www.ebay.com/itm/All-Star-Rods-66-GTX40-Model-TWS-Graphite-Casting-Rod-/201598344049?hash=item2ef0329b71:g:9u4AAOSw9eVXVNE4
  7. If you are reeling the jig along and bumping the bottom... almost like a crankbait... You may want to try a wobble head jig instead. No weedguard but still weedless, and much harder for the fish to throw once hooked
  8. Bump in case anyone has any to sell.. Thanks
  9. Man I wish I lived close... I'd take all 4 Pro Qualifiers in a heartbeat... Someone's gonna get a steal!!!
  10. This is a killer idea that I could really see taking off. Would love to see Lake of the Ozarks data but I totally understand you are probably somewhat limited as you are getting this off the ground. Best of luck! It would not surprise me to see this take off country wide!
  11. This is why I'm looking here... eBay has gotten out of control for the most part and BBC is not far behind. Decent deals are on BBC from time to time but still pretty high... Maybe a good new topic would be baits that are no longer produced but people still use in their regular arsenal?!?!
  12. People have them listed for that but they rarely ever sell for that... You'll see those baits sitting there for months. Ham was able to help me out on some BLV's... Thanks Ham!!
  13. The Originals? I'll give em a shot! Thanks!
  14. Looking to find some Original Reaction Innovations Vixens and Barely Legal Vixens (insert JoeD joke here)... Condition and color doesn't really matter. The Originals have "VIXEN" stamped on the back. PM me if you have any you are willing to part with and we can try and work out a price.
  15. Congrats Buddy! Very Happy for you and Emma!
  16. Awesome read! Brought back so many memories for me! I need to revisit some of my old favorites this summer!
  17. Awesome despite the slow bite. Glad you guys were able to hook up for a day on the water! Just like every day I've spent in Aaron or Mitch's boat... We have a blast whether the fish were biting or not!
  18. Congrats!!! Awesome fish!
  19. I have the same issue Ham... I just use O'Keefe's Working Hands in the evenings and it heals my cuts and cracks much quicker than when I use nothing.
  20. Of the 27 I cleaned on Sunday only 2 or 3 had pretty bloody eggs. The rest of the females just had bright yellow eggs with no blood going through em. Fishing a crappie tournament on 4/23 and I think we are going to hit it on the head. Wrench I may message you to try and get an idea where the bigger females are hanging out as the date gets closer
  21. Yep... He enjoys holding them and throwing the carcasses in the lake... Makes me grin from ear to ear to watch him!
  22. Congrats Bill! Great fish!
  23. We had very similar results Seth in the Mid Lake area. Fished crappie from 4 to 7:30 pm on Saturday (4/9). We grinded out a limit between 4 and 7 and then caught another limit and 10 shorts between 7 and 7:30 pm. All on jigs... Most were on a 1/32 oz black/chartreuse tube jig 4 ft deep under a cork and the rest were on 1/16 oz road runners (blue ice and blue/chartreuse).
  24. SOLD to U5 gravel... Thanks OAF!
