  1. Yes it did, need it October 1-2 ?
  2. Went out this morning and still slow fishing but buddy caught another good one shallow on a jig. Beauty of a fishing day, water is pretty clear and shad are stacked up in the back of a lot of coves.
  3. Must have been typing at same time wrench ?
  4. I mostly use 5/16, 3/8 and 7/16 but like plug said some go heavier.
  5. Yeah nights would probably be more productive but this old guy doesn't feel comfortable running around after dark, only takes one time for you to think you are somewhere you are not and your in trouble, plus I lose enough lures in daytime, could only imagine how many I would lose at night ?
  6. Well it was still not very good fishing but at least I had one good one. I am getting a few other bites but they just pop it and nothing. Can't get them to take the big jig for some reason. Looking to have a day like you did last month instead of one good one here and there ?. Told myself I need to use my electronics more and Thought I did good last night as I was looking at my graph and saw a group of big fish on bottom so thru a swimbait back to them and bip, my luck, a BIG drum.
  7. Well I abandoned my deep water stuff after not catching much and went to the docks and fishing was still slow but managed one good one with a couple shorts with 2 of the fish off of one dock. Fish were in about 6 feet of water behind a dock. It is either a timing deal and I am missing it or I just been stinking it up ?, well probably a little of both.
  8. Pleasure fishing with you wrench, we will do it this way whenever you wish. What a difference a couple days make, we probably lost 10 lbs fishing it was so hot and humid and then this weekend was just B E A U T I F U L ! Wish fishing was better, been running my same piles where I had the 4 keepers with the toad but no takers, may need to try shallow?
  9. Well the weather is beautiful but for me the fishing not so good, never boated a fish last night
  10. Well I HOPE it doesn't blow again but it may and if it does blow I hope it blows up within the one year warranty which I think it should if something is wrong cause I plan on running it often. They assured me it would be fine and if something were to happen and they didn't cover it well I guess it will be lesson learned and you will have a new customer ?.
  11. I just put a reman powerhead from Mercury in my 200 HP Mariner at $5400 and breaking it in this week. Have a one year warranty. Time will tell, hope to get many years out of it. Better than $50-60K.
  12. 1) white and smoke/black back 2) smoke and green pumpkin 3) mo craw and watermelon candy
  13. I have noticed that at my dock as those shallow fish can really see well and spook easily. I have a elevated deck before going down to walkway where I can watch the shallows but as soon as I get to the bottom of those stairs and on walkway a lot of times they are swimming off.
  14. I hear you Jim, doubt it will ever happen. Just to much revenue as in gas money and money talks.
  15. I'll take it ?
  16. That is when they are at there worst when going slow, if they throw a wake/roller over 2 foot they need a ticket but it won't happen. The water patrol up here is pulled up to gas dock at Millers flirting with the dock girls for hours at a time
  17. It's great from November thru March and so is the fishing ?
  18. This whole lake is crazy with big boats anymore, 31 mm area is not as bad as the gravois to glaize area is, but bad enough.
  19. Always will be a couple bigguns out by 9 a.m. so I would be close to Shawnee bend by 9 and definitely by 10.
  20. It's been several years ago since I used it but there was a ramp in back of Kinchlow hollow cove off cozy cove road I believe. Not sure what the charge would be.
  21. Must of been a narrow straight line wind, called Dale at Nemo Bridge Resort to see if they were OK and he said storms were not to bad. Glad that nobodys hurt.
  22. Yes it is definitely one of the finest setups and is a great flippin/pitchin and skipping setup along with being one of the finest all around jig rods made. I would not pay full price for it nor did I but any more with 60-70K bassboats and 600-1000k rod/reel combos seems to be the norm. Have loomis rods from when you break it and go to store and get a new replacement for free but that does not happen any more which made the high dollar purchase worth it back then.
