    Was in gravois last weekend and had a foot to foot and a half visibility, pretty good stain to it. It is better than the main lake but still not good. I do not think it will clear till March but who knows.

    The a-rig definitely works, still looking for my first double on it. You just have to commit to it. It was a perfect day for it with windy conditions yesterday. I should be out there today throwing it cause conditions are perfect for it today. Also had one just inhale my megabass, back hook was in gullet which I was able to get out luckily.

    Everyone has hit it right, just go bass fishing (or walleye) and you have just as good or better chance of catching one. I have caught 3 over the years I have fished there. I just caught one this year, I believe it was in October on a jig.

    Went for a little boat ride with the wife today, took a trip from 28 mm to 54 bridge in Nianguas and was able to get an hour or so of fishing in. Boy what a BIG difference in water clarity from around my area to Niangua. Ended up with 5 fish and 1 or 2 keepers.

    Quick story. Was out putting in brush last weekend and I got to PB2 and smelled gas and saw a sheen on water so took boat home took off cowling and put the muffs in her and found leak, took a pict and messaged to fishinwrench and he messaged me back and told me what I should do and was back on water next day. I have never met Fishinwrench but to talk on forum, thanks Fishinwrench!

    3-4 inch visibility on main lake up that way for the most part. Had about a foot to a foot and a half visibility in gravois, that was this past weekend and I do not see anything changing, it probably won't get clear to probably March I am guessing

    Fished Saturday myself after putting out some piles we ran to the gravois and we never had a bite. So instead of fishing today made some more piles.

    Watching survival round 1 on dvr now, wow! Buddy of mine fished with one of the top sticks when he won a tourney doing the very same deal on TR a few years back.

    I had 3 sets of piles that where short with thick branches we were going to put out shallow but the places where I had in mind was frozen, next round ?. Went back in gravois yesterday and boats were everywhere, never got a bite yesterday throwing jig, a-rig, rogue. Had about foot to foot and a half visibility with 38-40 degree water temps

    I do that as well as putting in my own, it is a lot of work but when they pan out it is fun to have your own pile for at least a little while. I think when I was pushing in my waypoints yesterday I was up to 700+ waypoints

    For those who have sunk Christmas trees, is it better to leave the green needles or burn the needles off? I burned some needles and left needles on others but am not sure which is best. Was thinking the black fire smoke may deter but maybe algae will take care of that?

    Went over to old kinderhook ice skating with the grandboy yesterday and the Niangua had some pretty darn clear water at 54 bridge

    Free info? Funny wrench i was thinking on joining TowboatUS, having an older bass boat and the jet ski it did seem like good insurance for a breakdown tow. Have you had to use them? Was wondering how long the wait would be for a tow

    Not sure, I would have to look at another one to tell you. I think I remember blades coming off when boat flipping the fish when shaking their heads, I never wait for a net man or even use a net when after dark. Have had a few fool me and bounce off rub rail and drag em on in ?

    Hey Bo, have you had any problems like the attached with blade coming off or was I just catching to many bigguns with it ?, had two of your spinnerbaits do this to me. I have had other top brands do the same. I do like the design of changing different weight heads

    Was wondering why the participation is higher for the fall tourney vs. the spring? I guess because of being in middle of tourney seasons with other circuits?
