You will laugh, I wear large wool socks with the lined Crocs, never get cold. They aren't water proof, but are great for warmth... laugh if you want to but don't hate it until you try it.

These are brand new and never used. Cost $4000 plus tax new. I have a friend who has them and now no boat. Stock photo below.

I have 2 power pole signature blades new in the box. All hardware included. They are black. Asking $3000. Text is best 4172300343.

Try Jerry Wilson's table rock blacklights...made right here in Springfield and sold at fin and feather. Awesome guy and products... Also, several of the superlines and braids are blacklight visible. All I use any more day or night with flouro leaders...

I will send you my entry fee so the pot will be bigger and I will skip the tourney. ....all I really have done this year at mill creek when I show up anyway..

Was on the lake when divers showed up. We were fishing north bank of Indian Point. This happen right after the storm that blew through. Looked like 5 dive boats and three water patrol boats.... Praying all is well.

Like it or not, crowds, other fisherman, and pressure are and will always be part of fishing. When I was a kid I tried to keep my favorite pond a secret or it would get fished. In every tourney this is a factor if ignored can cost you. It is part of the game that must be considered or you will lose more than you win. Unfortunately, it is something most out of your control and leaves you guessing. The better pros think about this often as much as actually catching fish. If I have a dynamite bank or area that is known to be that way, I better have a backup plan or I might not be able to fish it.

I appreciate all the help but I need to clarify...I have zero issues with alberto or modified albright with any braid to flouro combos. This does not hold true for "superlines" nanofill and suffix 832. These are two of the most effective lines I have found for spinning tackle. However, the leaders have issues. Is anybody trying any of these knots specifically with 832 or nanofil?
-
I have been using flouro to braid leaders for a while now. I pretty much tie the modified albright (alberto) with 8 wraps each direction. I have had zero issues with it and the lighter leader always breaks and not the knot...until recently. I tried some 14lb nanofill and the flouro would slip out of the knot rather than break the flouro 6lbs leader. Also, I really, really like the 832 suffix. When using 8 or 10 lb leaders with 20lbs suffix, I have had some of the same issues. The flouro simply is gone out of the knot when I get hung up and pull on it hard. Also, have broken some on hookset. Previously I used spiderwire ultra cast or power pro... Anybody else see the same issue with the 832 suffix. I really like this stuff other than the leader knot issue

My partner and I had a good day and got 12th..congrats to Darren and Rick...good guys... We definitely did something different. We flipped the brush on bluffs up the river. I mean cast no one will make and a high likelyhood to never get your bait back. This was my partners idea and we smoked several until noon or so. These are high productive spots with known history. Then that bite just quit. Went back down to dam area and ended up with a couple of keeper smallmouth on the shakey head. One was 3 lbs and culled. Never got that kicker fish but had 5 decent ones for 14.02 lbs. The flipping deal was a gamble but paid off. Get to fish for free next year. Had a great time, great weather, and spent time with a great friend. Caught up with several old buddies as well. Blessed and feel like I will just keep my boat for now....if you have read my other post it has been a rough year until last two tourneys...

Anyone been in upper James since the rain Friday? Curious if water was dingy, mudline, etc. The river in springfield was dirty so it got me thinking. Thanks

Be sure to get some epoxy and put around the loops where the hooks go into the body. These rust some and can pull out. The epoxy will help secure them.

That last pic he is already asleep...need more Mountain Dew.

Thanks for the help and yes 4 derbies is a lot but some are just local club fun. I know things will come around... Keep getting those reports in and good luck to all. -
Don't know what to do anymore...I am absolutely getting killed on this pond lately... Fished 4 derbies the last two weeks...with only 6 keepers. Bottom line is I stink! Need a boost of confidence or I might just hang it up and sell out. Blessed to be healthy, have a great family, and good fishing buddies. However, the lack of catching lately is really getting to me. Also, I know guys are catching them and that even bugs me more. Fished Mill Creek last night and made a "milk run " that I have done for spawn pre spawn stuff for 20 years...one stinking keeper! Fished tubes, stick worms, jigs (hopped it, drug it, swam it), and SB slow rolled. Fished pockets adjacent to channel banks, secondary points with pockets, docks on spawning flats, etc... caught several shorts with only one 3.5 keeper. They are prime, proven areas that hold fish this time of year regardless of where we are in the spawn. Thought I had been fishing too fast recently but slowed down on my best stuff and still no results. Went to Stockton last saturday and caught 22.6 lbs ...I think I can catch em on the rock...however lately I just don't know what to think... HELP PLEASE
-
I definitely wasn't were you are...good job...I am flat out having the worst spring on this lake I can remember...only had one 4 lb keeper and several shorts last night..I am just stumped and humbled. Made a long run last night from MILL CREEK to long creek to a "milk run" that has always produced for spawn/pre spawn. May just sell bass rig and buy a cane pole...

I have a revo winch Gen 3 I have used three trips. It just won't fit my giant hands! I got it as a gift late last fall. It is 100% like new (maybe 150 cast) and comes spooled with suffix elite in 10#. I need $145 for this reel. It is $200 plus tax new. I will have box and pics up soon of the actual reel. Might consider grade in for new spinning reels..Shimano, Pluegers, or Revo Brett - Springfield MO text preferred 2300343
