Thanks. Had some spotty reports from youth hunt but sounded like it was decent. Few guys I've talked to in our area have been seeing some birds. I was surprised at the complete lack of movement last night. My wife's kept me busy since September and haven't been out like I normally am. I even missed teal season! Good luck in Iowa.

@Ryan MiloshewskiSeeing many birds on your side of the state moving? Was out yesterday afternoon on the river setting dekes and sat at our dock until sunset. All we saw was 4 geese. We usually see good numbers this time of year moving before dusk.

Pro guide AGM batteries

Picked mine up last Thursday, too. Got 2 Pro Guide AGM Group 31. Fished today with them for the first time. Held the boat in heavy current all morning. Checked voltage when I got home and was still over 12.6v on both batteries. First impressions were great, hope they hold up to my abuse. -

You got me paraniod! I haven't repacked my bearings for this season yet. Had to pull the hubs today to make sure all looked good. -
There was a nesting pair not too far down the river from here before the big floods. Looked like the nest was being rebuilt this spring.

Went right over my head. I just assumed you thought my slingers would pair well with a rye on rye and rightly so. Slingers are a St. Louis late night diner staple. Usually consist of hash browns and sausage patties topped with chili, a fried egg, cheese and chopped onions. In this case, it was a duck croquette over duck chili topped with an egg, cheddar cheese and chopped onion with jalapeno and tomato.

Big mature drake. Local bird, banded in Aug 2020, hatched 2019 or earlier. Also had a kingfisher snatch a fish from in front of the blind, land on some brush a few feet from my face and brag about it. Was a good morning to drink some coffee.

Saw a few more birds today and got some new jewlery. Got high hopes for Monday's front.

@Masterbaiter399 I'm not on bookface, what's the limit on the arnold and/or fenton gauges that you cancel your tuesday night tourney? I heard a couple guys in your group had some prop damage last year.
