  1. Where are those water temp graphs located on the USGS water data website? And what water temperature would you all say would be bearable for wading without waders?
  2. Oh I forgot to ask...How did the water temp. feel?
  3. You're lucky you didn't go off the right side of the slab...You'd have been sunk.
  4. If the two occupation wars, the Bush-era tax cuts, and the remnants of the reinvestment act were gone, our deficit would be declining. The decline could even be described as rapid. This is without any other cuts--defense or discretionary, and no new taxes.
  5. Cool stuff one shot. My Grandpa was born on April 15, 1912--the day the Titanic sunk. Coincidentally, he was also born at Harrison, Ark! We might be kin!
  6. Ah, yes. Spoonhour's and Rick Majerus' (RIP) former teams. The Billikens ...and thank you.
  7. SLU? Isn't that the high school that Hogs running back Ronnie Wingo Jr. came from? I didn't know they played college basketball
  8. Well, Arkansas ran FL out of Bud Walton... So let's see how Mizzou handles the Gators?
  9. I second Hog Heaven. In my experience they're good at putting you on some fish. Cool campground too.
  10. Arkansas will win big at home..
  11. The success of Mike Anderson's style of play is predicated on recruiting great athletes. Nolan Richardson had the ability to find and recruit that type of athleticism, and so far in his career Anderson has been able to follow his mentor's blueprint. They had/have a knack for finding the right type of athletes to be the pieces to a puzzle. I wish Arkansas had a J.T. Spiller right about now.
  12. A trail camera captured this image of a mountain lion leaving the carcass of a young elk at Peck Ranch Conservation Area on Feb. 2. / Missouri Department of Conservation
  13. I'm copying my post from the thread you started titled "New to Marshfield" or something of the sort: Just head down A Highway south from Marshfield, turn right on K highway not far out of town and you can hit some creeks that flow south. The Upper James and Panther Creek, check out Big Bell and Little Bell Springs, and Compton Hollow access. Good fishing holes all through that area. If you continue down A Highway to US 60, head west through Fordland until U Highway, turn south. This you can follow U south and then to the west and access the upper Finley on many of the county roads (Olga, Braden, Rosemead...) on your left. Good spots all through there too. In the late spring/early summer you can float these areas if the waters good and you pack light. Access at low water crossings. You can find all this on the map pretty easily, check it out. And catch/release if you don't mind. I sent you a PM with some info attached you'll find helpful. Cheers.
  14. Anderson's only had ONE recruiting class. His first year, the "Big 4" were all but forced onto him and into his system. I like Qualls, Williams, and Clarke, but all are very young. I'm holding my judgement until after next year--when he's bringing in a top ten recruiting class.
  15. Hell yeah! Huge confidence boost for a team that really needed it. Now we'll see if they can build on the win when they go out on the road. Go Hogs!
  16. I wouldn't waste a trip to Beaver Creek. It's fished out and snakey. Water's been too low anyways. Probably a better bet just to find another creek.
  17. Whats semi-private mean?
  18. No problem... Good luck this Spring & Summer.

  20. BADASS!
  21. I floated Alley to Eminence on Saturday afternoon. Fish weren't biting, but it was one hell of a day on the river for early November!
  22. Right on, If you float past Circle B and hear a bunch of Hootin and Hollering and horse shoes clangin' feel free to stop in and say hello, I'm the dark haired 6'7'' guy.
  23. Thanks everybody for the replies. I've fished the hell out of green bitsy tubes the last couple years, so I want to try something different--but of course if I'm not catching fish I know I can always fall back on that. JoeD- Super Fluke in White Pearl? 5 Incher? What hook works best with them? (Never used those before) Something like this?
