I don't care if you never take a picture of anything...that's your call. I was just surprised that you didn't choose to add a few pics to your reports of trout fishing near and far in the last couple years. I'm just saying a report is about a thousand times better with some photos or video. And the point remains the same either way...if you find it acceptable to fight a fish to lactic acid overdose and complete exhaustion on light tippet, a few more seconds to snap a shot for memory's sake shouldn't be a major concern to you...that's the least of that fish's problem.

BF, go back and read what I've said about nuclear...I'm on board. The point I'm making with the 3MI, Chernobyl, and BP incidents is that just because we're Americans and living in the 21st Century doesn't make us impervious to accident and disaster. So let's not start pretending that nuclear power comes without risk. Nuclear IMO is a viable fuel alternative, but as I said before, I think we should be focusing on renewable, and only supplementing that with the more dangerous sources like nuclear and fossil fuel. So that's my point...that there's no magic bullet when it comes to our energy crisis. No alternative is perfect, and I'm simply pointing out one of the problems with nuclear. And yes, I was alive in '79.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it is who you think it is...and if it is, there was substantial evidence that extremely slow service and sporadic communication were already a problem when Njardar placed his order. Maybe he didn't see the threads? And from what I've been told privately, the products are a mixed bag, ranging from "you get what you pay for" to "not bad for the price," depending on the item. I've seen the good reviews, but it seems those who have been disappointed have refrained from commenting publicly, I suppose out of politeness...so there it is. Definitely.

Kev, I've already conceded that I'm basically on board with nuclear power, and I'm sure technology has improved to the point that it can be done relatively safely. But still, accidents happen, and I have to say I'd be angry and worried if a plant was built anywhere closer to my home than Callaway (I'm not all that thrilled that Callaway is only about 100 miles due west of me). But all in all, I agree with you that it's a viable energy source, and surely more environmentally friendly than our current policy of anything-goes fossil fuel burning. Let's not pretend, though, that nuclear power comes without a certain amount of risk. Our main focus should be on entirely renewable energy, and only supplemented with nuclear and fossil fuel. Yeah, because anything US owned and operated is impervious to disaster, right? Like the BP oil spill? Imagine if that was nuclear fallout instead...all over northern Arkansas. Yea! Mutations!
