  1. Hey, I've got 2 Lew's laying around not being used. I just acquired them via trades and I don't have a use for them. They are both in very good shape. 1-Tournament Pro 6.4:1, looks almost brand new. $100 shipped 1-LFS 7.1:1, very good shape, spooled with 12# Hi Seas copolymer and includes box. $50 shipped Take both for $PENDING I will ship the same day or the following day after payment is received. Paypal is preferred.
  2. Seth, I found a rod on TW that may suit you. It's shorter than both and its rating as Heavy, Extra Fast is questionable, but it's a kick butt little stick. I found, on clearance, a Damiki Dark Angel 6'6" H XF for like $69. It's a nice rod, nicely outfitted, rated 12 to 25# line and 3/8-1 1/4 or 1 1/2oz, I can't recall. I have a 8.1 Fuego CT on it with 30# braid for tossing Horny Toads and frogs this summer on ponds and rivers.
  3. @MOsmallies, killer fish bud. Aaron is really the go to on that stretch.
  4. Can't believe I missed this one.
  5. Personally, the 6'11 would be a fun stick for rivers.
  6. @Ham if we lived closer or could get together, I have the aforementioned 2017 Tourney Special 6'6" MH I'd sell you cheap enough. It's a nice rod, but I've got others that I lean on for similar duty and it isn't being used.
  7. That's why I was asking you guys who fish the James regularly. 200 to 300 is the ideal level then. I can't wait for summer flows.
  8. What cfs on the Boaz gage is the river able to be paddled upstream from the access a way and floated back? I see the river is up a bit, but will likely be in the area Monday around 11 or so. The boat is a 2017 Tarpon 100. Thanks guys.
  9. Sounds good. I'm jonesing for some smallies.
  10. Thanks guys. I'm working to build confidence with both of these baits this year and this info helps out, telling me I may not be wasting my time throwing these on Ozark rivers.
  11. 1/4, 3/8oz or the smaller size buzzbaits for creeks. I've honestly never caught a thing on buzzbaits, but I'd love to this year. Chatterbaits are a whole other creature. What are your opinions?
  12. Google Maps or Google Earth is my best resource for finding places.
  13. Will do!
  14. Does the little dam below Fiery Fork have anything to do with it @fishinwrench? I enjoy that float below Bannister, but darn there is some slow stuff.
  15. 38x28 is a heck of a brown. 34-10 weight...nice fish!
  16. Nice fish Bret. I agree, bad weather brings the big girls out for me.
  17. I sent a PM with my #. Thanks!
  18. I'd drive to St Louis, NWA, etc for the right deal.
  19. In KC, there's not a whole lot. Kind of saddens me really.
  20. Hey, I'm looking to grab either a used SOT kayak or a used solo canoe pretty affordably in a few weeks. What would you have and what would it run me? Thanks guys.
  21. I have baits to about 4oz and, honestly, with proper gear, it's no different than tossing a 1/2oz jig and pig on a MH all day. If you're balanced in your approach and let the tackle work for you, it's all fun. Hell, I'd recommend a couple glide baits for the rivers, ISlide 185, Gan Craft 178 or Deps SS175. They'll pull big fish while being small enough to get the 2lb fish.
  22. Thanks
  23. Nope, I am moving to throwing big swimbaits and liquidating what I don't use.
  24. Added and removed items
  25. Also have 3 new Damiki Dolphin 90 and one new Zip N Ziggy $30 shipped for them.
