Anyone else use Vicious line for bass? I am using the Panfish line on my UL and have not had a fish break off. I caught smallmouth, largemouth, wiper and innumerable sunfish on it. I was curious about the Ultimate line.

You are worried about a long drive? KC and I would be making a 3.5 hour pilgrimage to make this shendig. I don't mind where we are floating or fishing, just that we can get something figured out. If I can come, I won't know until the week of more than likely.

That struck me as a surprise as well.

That first fish looks relatively healthy. Was this on a larger body of water?

I have had better luck on ponds with a white 1/16oz Rooster Tail. I throw it on 4# test Vicious Panfish line in the dark green color on an UL spinning rod. I have caught the biggest largemouth of my life on it (3.5# or so, 21" long). This was many years ago though. I have also had good luck throwing a Rapala F05 in silver in ponds on the same tackle setup and have caught bass to 2# on it.

Man, in rural Kansas where I reside, this is common practice. I can drive from Baldwin to Lawrence and see fields burning, unsupervised, along the main thoroughfare. If it gets windy, the fire can jump the roads and cause issues, in which case, I think the offending farmers should be cited for careless burning. What happened to the mule pulling the old plow blade? That didn't pollute or waste fuel, but I guess when you have to till 1500 acres, the tractor makes it faster. I can see both sides of this, but the smell is enough to gag you once in awhile, and if you live in the area, it is a constant, nasty smell for a couple weeks twice a year.

Holy Jesus, did you do this to just up your post count? I have a grand over four and a half years on this forum and many of them have been posting one of the ways you commented on. A lot of Eric's posts have been the same way. It's okay, we all understand each other and know how controversial threads are going to go. Someone, Chief, Eric, Trav, etc will push a wrong button and someone else will get pissed off. We understand this and yet the world continues to go around... We should have a subforum where we can all just whine, piss and moan called---wait for it---"As the Forum Turns".

Check into Bodarc Lake if you want panfish. They are in there in better size and numbers.

Chubs love #16 scuds under a float! That is a pretty little guy. In fact, can I go so far as to say he is prettier than at least one of them rainbows.

Waters around here are a bit high, but we only got 3.5-4.5" of rain. Maybe my local lake outlet will be down Monday...
