I was Tuesday when I left around 1:00 water was 40 fairly clear for that area. I really didn't pay any attention how far down my jig went before it was out of site.
After today an tomorrow I'll bet the temp is higher.
Not even close that level but I will definitely try to go an watch. I wonder how many will go up river or stay main lake, dam area?
The daytime weights will be interesting.
I got this info off another web site today it was posted yesterday.
Ice is forming in the cove by public ramp at Cedar Ridge. Probly will be frozen in by morning around the dock. The campground ramp is good and will probly remain open for a while. The water temp at State Park was 39 two days ago so not sure bout it yet. Turkey Creek froze up out to close to the mouth.
I went this morning caught 3 keeps and 2 shorts....biggest 17'' bottom bounced points 12' to 17' after about 9:00 it just quit, the wind stopped and so did the bite for me. I left at 12 my batteries were getting weak I need to look into some new ones.
Also many thanks Phil an Bob. I have some new things to try. I attended two seminars and both had the room full maybe this could be a late winter activity every year or couple of years?
Thin ice floating around Cedar Ridge launch yesterday but you could still launch it was gone in the afternoon. After today and tonight it'll probably return water temp around 33
Doesn't surprise me, I've noticed moss in the Cedar Ridge area were you never used to see it. What surprised me was the Lil Sac arm had the least with Springfield's waste water flowing in that one.
