  1. 873 at 6:30 this morning more rain in the forcast
  2. Zac, if you guys put in at Mutton or Ruark Bluff and head north one of those points is going to hold wally unless this rain really fouls things up....but I doubt it. PD said it, nightcrawler is the key hang it on something and you will catch fish.
  3. At least you found them. I tried yesterday on the main lake and didn't have much luck. The walleyes were willing but not the crappie. I'll look in the creeks next time. Good luck Saturday
  4. I needed an excuse to go to Bass Pro.....................Thanks
  5. WalleyedMike there still biting I caught a limit today, nothing big. The places I fished last week were occupied so I found some on steep sloping banks between 16' to 20' deep.
  6. I was stopped at Stockton two years ago and the water patrol never mentioned anything about not having having a throw cushion. I believe Arkansas requires it but I didn't think Missouri did.
  7. I'll be down next weekend and was wondering which roads were best south of Cedar Creek, where you can get turned around. Brass Lantern, Perrsinger, Yocum, Bright Elbow?
  8. All of them had spawned and none were bigger than 11"
  9. Thats a killer fish !!!!!!!!!!!!1
  10. Fished around twin bridges the walleye are biting nightcrawlers in 15' to 20'. The biggest was 17". The crappie I found were in 18' next to a drop off on a jig tipped with a minnow. I was using smoke and a chartruse and orange jig.
  11. I'm not a biologist but with the lake supposedly going to get clearer with the zebra mussel how will this effect the fish we have in there now? I don't know enough about what stripers eat to have an informed opinion but I wish they would try and make the yellow perch population larger since the crappie fishing is hit and miss. I also agree with the above when the lake goes up and down 20' with limited high water access this in the spring does little for Mo. I also agree the gar have a adverse effect on the panfish population. So I guess I'm for enhancing what we have now and let Ark. do their stocking.
  12. Do a search, good outboard guy has been discusssed. Or ask on the Table Rock fourm, those tournament guys know.
  13. I think bad health forced him to close. It hasn't been open for years.
  14. Those are nice fish, good job. I hope the perch do well in BS, they might be better than crappie?
  15. That's a nice fish.
  16. Good job Straw hat!!! It was a good day to be outside.
  17. Jason I don't bass fish but have fished the area for walleye. I mostly troll with spinner rigs and nightcrawlers. I wish I could be of more help but if your thinking of walleyes the cuts and rock humps from the dam to Beaver are a good place's to start and you might catch some bass also. I'm sure there are some bass guys that could chime in with a little more info.
  18. If you put in by Swan and head east, where the lake makes a turn south is the Barker Hole.
  19. Cajunangler don't take offense, I am one of the 150 but haven't fished down there this year but still like to hear what's going on. I'm sure there are others like me but there will be some that never post that's just how it goes. It's a great fourm don't get discouraged.
  20. It was split about even 7 were white and the other 8 were blacks. It was fun, this is my favorite time of the year to crappie fish. I seen 4 boats and I was on the water from 9:00 till 1:30
  21. Found the crappie in 23' to 28'today on the bottom up to 10' from the top in the Big Sac arm. Water temp on front graph 38 on the back one 40 so about 39. I was using orange and chartruse on one and smoke glitter on the other....I think they would have hit anything.
  22. I heard some were buying shiners and salting them. I guess using them the next day or same day? To imitate dead shad.
  23. Everything west of High Point is open, don't know about up the creeks. State Park was busy lots of folks fishing. I went around point 3 and found them 10' down over 36'. Surface temp was 37.
  24. Read and seen a picture of State Park ramp on another web site and it was open. The guy caught his fish in the marina so I don't know if you can get out to the lake. They also said Hawker Point was open. This is all second hand but I'm going tomorrow so I will post how it looks when I get back.
